Now before anyone loses their mind, I will throw the this out there first. It was only moved by about 2 weeks from June 1st to May 18th ( Yes it came forward) according to rumors reported by Polygon.com and for a rather interesting reason. Since the Fox/Disney many have speculated it may be because of that, but actually they simply don’t want so many of the X-men movies to be competing with each other in international theaters, which honestly is a good idea. A few of the other movies have also been shuffled around and reportedly the director of the long rumored to be in trouble Gambit movie has actually left the project.
