Overwatch 2 cinematic trailer

To round out the trio of amazing Blizzcon 2019 cinematic announcements, we come to Overwatch 2. The first game I admit I wasn’t a fan of; while I thought it was really fun, I found it repetitive and I didn’t like the story was separate from the actual game as mini videos you had to tune in for. While the story trailer looked awesome, I can’t help but thinking it will once again having nothing to do with the actual game. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

  1. I completely understand your opinions on the first game. There are a lot of multiplayer-only games that give very little in terms of world-building, so I loved how Overwatch did it. The animated shorts and comics were genuinely fun to watch and read, and I always looked forward to the next one.

    I am not sure if Overwatch 2 needed to happen instead of being an overhaul of the original game, much like Heroes of the Storm 2.0, but I just hope they do a good job.
