This is the 3rd time Godzilla has faced off against his mechanical foe, but this time is slightly different. As a little back story the original iteration was built by aliens to make it easy. This time around however the story has changed.
In the 2002 version This is an entirely different Godzilla than originally attacked Japan. Japan now in an effort to fight back has recovered the bones of the original and is using the DNA to build Mechagodzilla.
The story itself isn’t bad and the battle is fierce and like many of the previous Godzilla movies there is no clear cut winner. The thing I enjoy about these later movies is the stories are much more detailed and in depth than simply two monsters fighting each other which is nice and worth checking out. Definitely check it out, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
