One World Under Doom

Victor Von Doom has set on his most daring plan yet since becoming the Earth’s new Sorcerer Supreme- he has truly taken over the world. War, poverty, and prejudice are abolished. HYDRA has been disbanded and forced to build premium schools and hospitals since healthcare and education are now free. He’s even managed to cure Ben Grimm of his mutation as a show of good faith towards towards the Fantastic 4. He sacrificed his own well being and faced off against Dormammu to protect the universe. Peace is almost perfected if not for the Avengers who resist him. Is it possible Doom has turned a new leaf? Not if the Avengers, X men, or Fantastic 4 have anything to say about it; even Valeria Richards, Doom’s own goddaughter, is skeptical. But can they stop him?

Holy crap I loved this book. Easily in my top 5 Marvel stories I’ve ever read. I always loved Dr. Doom since I first read Dr Strange & Dr Doom: Triumph and Torment. The characters are all well developed, all having really good arguments. Doom is a icon, being both badass, heartfelt, and he does make some damn good points about the Marvel Universe as a whole. The artwork is incredible with some panels that are burned into my brain. The story takes a lot of turns and I did like the final ending, punctuating how complex Doom really is.

In the end, I can’t recommend this story enough, especially with Avengers: Doomsday coming out. It’s a book a I couldn’t put down. May the Doom bring you glory.
