According to express.co.uk the release dates for both Crackdown 3 (Friday june 29th) and State of decay (Friday May 25th) have been leaked on Spanish Amazon tho Microsoft has yet to make an official statement at the time of me writing this. This would actually be a pretty huge leak that many people would be excited for, however I would take this with a huge grain of salt as many of these leaks are simply placeholder dates. As the title asked, did Xbox for the first time outsell Sony this holiday season? I won’t bore you to much and drag this out. according to comicbook.com the answer is yes, but there is a small catch. The Nintendo Switch beat them both. This has actually come as a surprise to many people on all fronts, myself included. Nintendo in recent years even tho the Wii was massively successful struggled with the Wii U. That being said it is great to see all 3 consoles selling so well, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Now the video and the title will say a lot, but there is more info out there. For example there is a trilogy box set that comes with Dark Souls one ,two and three along with a ton of other stuff like art books, book ends and other assorted items, and all for the low low price of $450 (American) Now that won’t be in the cards for me and the sooner than expected release date of May 25th.
What does the remaster include? Well 1080 graphics on the PlayStation and Xbox one as well as upscaled 4K graphics on the One X and Pro with native 4K on the PC. I do have some concerns tho, the original dark souls was damn near broken at times and it basically required manipulating broken hit boxes and camera angles as opposed to actual skill. Dark Souls 2 to a lesser extent had a similar problem but Scholar of the First Sin fixed those amazingly, and I really hope the remaster of DS1 does the same. I am personally excited but optimistic. Many of you may know that about 2 years ago Capcom confirmed they were remaking Resident Evil 2, but since than nothing has really been said. Recently tho Express.co.uk has pointed out as have many fans that the Japanese Twitter for the company has updated their picture to all the games recently released with 1 gap, the gap where you would think Resident Evil 2 would be. There is no quick answer to this question, but maybe. But that is a question many people have been asking lately it seems. Belgium Justice Minister seems to believe it is, tho Translations seem to be a bit off and there has been an update to the story that can be found here.

Now i’m not sure gambling is the right word, but I can understand the argument. You are spending money and may or may not receive something of equal value. Is Kerbal Space Program finally fixed? Well not quite, but news this week from their official update at http://kerbaldevteam.tumblr.com/post/167097693084/ksp-weekly-expedition-1 reveals it will be by the end of January 2018.
Now I will admit, I am jaded. The game is fun even in its current and broken state. Waiting over a year for it to be fixed has been very frustrating to say the least, however recently seeing why the wait should be worth it.

Originally released in 1993 Secret of Mana quickly became one of the most popular games in the series. I won’t say to much on it tho, I will let the recently released opening cut scene for the remake speak for itself.

The PlayStation 4 Free games have finally been revealed. The first is worms battleground.
I haven’t played this one, but the older games were fun and simplistic. Simply move your worms use some odd but fun weapons to kill the enemy worms. I am looking forward to trying this one.
Next up is bound. Honestly I know nothing about this but graphically it looks interesting.

This will be short and sweet, R.I.P Visceral Games. EA officially announced the crew behind the amazing Dead Space trilogy is shutting down. This brought me down pretty hard. Dead Space was a game that, as a horror fan and sci-fi nerd, delivered everything I could really ever want and did it with love. Another Visceral game I find really underrated is Dante’s Inferno. The dark but alarming adaptation made me rush out and find my own copy of epic poem. To me, Visceral games were a huge part of my PS3 experience and some of the last games to really inspire me.
R.I.P Visceral Games, you will be missed.
