Indie publisher Ratalaika Games, in collaboration with Finland developer Woblyware, is delighted to announce the digital release of Royal Frontier for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Steam PC and Nintendo Switch is set for March 18th 2022.



Billed as an epic roguelite styled, light hearted, turned based, strategic adventure it encompasses many exciting experiences and challenges giving it a broader appeal than many other similar games of this genre.

Setting the scene

Settlers are ready to head East, across the perilous continent, through hardships and dangers, in hopes for a better life in the far away land. A group of heroes is tasked to guide the caravan safely through the dangerous continent. Not all succeed. The main goal of the game is to choose the right paths, make the right decisions while making the most of the resources you have available, and guide the settlers safely through the continent. The game also gives players smaller challenges they can try to complete on each run.

The Challenge is set

Each run will be different, and as you play more you will unlock new heroes to try out and more powerful blessings that will push you towards the final boss. 60 optional challenges that vary from surviving 4 days without taking any damage to hunting down Old Sawtooth, an ancient grizzly living in the heart of the forest.

For those that enjoyed the first Curious Expedition, Curious Expedition 2 is coming March 17th to PS4 and Xbox one. (will also be playable on PS5 and the series S/X)

For Switch fans it is also worth noting that the long awaited Highlands of Avalon will be available the same day for all consoles and all bring 8 new playable characters, a new mechanic and even a new tribe called the Picts. Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures features farming gameplay, a cozy town filled with friendly locals, and adventures across the region. In addition to farming, the game will have lots more on offer for an engaging and fun experience. 

That is how the game looks and describes itself, which honestly to me screams, this is basically every other farm sim out there. It is obviously way to early to tell and as a fam of the older Harvest Moon games and the much newer Stardew Valley and the like I will be keeping an eye on this one. I am always excited to give you guys news of upcoming titles from Strictly Limited games, especially since I know so many of you love to collect physical collector’s editions of games. Fossil Games, and, indie game publisher, Hound Picked Games are excited to announce that Sunshine Manor, a real retro 80s horror movie inspired diamond, will be released for PC on Steam on October 28th… Just in time for Halloween!

In Sunshine Manor, players adopt the role of Ada McReady who, unfortunately and against her will, gets trapped in Sunshine Manor whilst out trick or treating. It is not a place where most folks would want to be. Its long dark corridors dripping with cobwebs, creaking floorboards and unwelcoming atmosphere hang heavy. Ada has only one recourse, to get the ‘hell’ out of this nightmare as fast as possible!.

As Ada tentatively explores the Manor, you’ll meet ghosts, battle demons (some more friendly than others) and attempt to stop whatever is happening in the old Aitken house. As always with good versus evil, Ada has plenty of her own tricks to even things up with psychic powers that can banish demons for good!
