Endgame Now 2nd Highest Grossing Movie of All Time

Now if you want all the exact numbers and nitty-gritty, Deadline has a great article. But the short version of it is after this weekend (and an even smaller gap by the time you read this) Avengers: Endgame passed Titanic and became the 2nd highest grossing movie of all time in both America and the world behind Avatar as it passed the 2 billion mark Sunday, and only about 600M separating Endgame and Avatar.

There is always the small chance Endgame doesn’t make it, but with plenty of time left in theaters, it is hard to imagine any scenario where Endgame doesn’t take the top spot, the real question for many is will it be the first movie to top 3 billion worldwide? Vin Diesel Reveals John Cena for Fast & Furious 9

For fans of the Fast & Furious serious that are upset that The Rock won’t be in the ninth movie in the franchise, Vin Diesel took to Instagram to reveal a new wrestler, John Cena. Screenrant has the actual video for those that want to see it, but for me this really comes off as a way to try to grab the fan base they lose by losing The Rock from the movie, tho that is just my opinion. Endgame Beats Force Awakens’ Opening night Record

Force Awakens opened with a huge night back in 2015, $57 million to be exact. Now in 2019 that record has been beaten by another Disney movie in Endgame which opened at a monstrous $60 million.  If there was ever any doubt about people being excited about it, it is probably safe to put that one to rest. Easter weekend At the Box Office Worst in Over 10 Years

As reported by Screenrant this was the worst box office easter weekend in a long time, almost 15 years to be exact. The Curse of LA Llorona which reportedly cost just over $9 million to make and had $26.5 million in ticket sales opening weekend. Breakthrough and Penguins did quite a bit less, however, with those being the only notable releases I would not take this as a sign of things to come. Suicide Squad 2 Eyes John Cena For Unknown Role

As reported by Screen Rant James Gun and Suicide Squad is eyeing John Cena to take on a role in the movie. Obviously without knowing the role not much is known or can be said about it, but Cena has been making the switch over to acting for years and has found some success in comedies in recent years. As is inevitable with any major release, someone managed to record the movie or at least parts on their cellphone at a rescreening and now spoilers are out. A Babysitter’s Guide To Monster Hunting Coming to Netflix

A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting is a book by Joe Ballarini. The story is about a girl from middle school name Kelly Ferguson and her plans switching from a Halloween party to sadly babysitting. The kid she is babysitting will get kidnapped by the Boogyman and his minions and that will send Kelly off to save him.

Netflix, with Rachael Talalay as the director, will be adapting this book to a movie. She has always directed episodes of The Flash, SuperGirl, multiple episodes of Doctor Who and Adventures of Sabrina. This may be a pretty good movie for the family as the book is classified as juvenile fiction, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Disney Plus Cost and Shows

We finally have details on Disney plus, and if you want a full breakdown on the cost you can check Polygon but it is basically $6.99 or a discounted $69.99 when paid for a year. Some of the more recent confirmed things for launch will be The entire Simpsons series and Captain Marvel. Cnet has a pretty good list of shows, but for the price, it is pretty solid, and we can expect a package deal with Hulu at some point. Star Wars Episode IX Teaser

Here it is, Star Wars, The Rise of Skywalker. So far I have seen a few people suggest due to the title the movie will be the redemption story of Kylo as he takes the last name Skywalker. Admittedly this would be interesting tho I still think the name is kind of bad. That being said I think the movie looks solid enough tho we don’t know much about it. Avengers Endgame to Be Stan Lees Last Cameo on Film

In a recent interview with comicbook.com the Russo brothers confirmed what many of us suspected, Endgame will be the last cameo for Stan Lee. They were however very careful to say last committed to film. This leads me to believe they will continue to carry on the tradition in other ways, maybe with pictures or something of the sort.
