Black Widow trailer 1

So the day finally comes when we got our first peak at the first movie of phase 4 in the MCU, Black Widow’s solo movie. While I rock with a majority of Marvel fans thinking this movie should’ve been a solid R rated movie, what we got so far looks pretty solid. The stunts look badass and I’m just happier to dive deeper into Widow’s character. I hope for a nice solid start to phase 4. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Antebellum trailer

I do love when random horror trailers pop up in my YouTube feed. Antebellum looks pretty interesting for a lot of reasons. I like the historical throwbacks rather than looking like a straight demonic ghost story. The cinematography looks good and the producers behind it look promising. Cats trailer 2

Ok, I’m pretty sure I said this last time, but WTF Hollywood. I know Cats is a masterpiece of Broadway musicals and I’m in no way crapping on these talented singers, dancers, and artists hard work, the visuals in this movie genuinely freak me out. What I think does it is that nothing of the makeup looks fake, in fact the make up and prostheses make me not think of Cats but these this are some strange hybrid creatures. I’m pretty curious how this movie will turn out. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Color Out of Space trailer

 

I’ve got to admit, I find it weird more of Lovecraft’s stories haven’t been adapted into movies (just not Cthulhu, I’m getting really sick of Cthulhu). I can’t make out a feeling for this movie. It looks kinda cheesy but also creepy as hell in some parts. The concept seems pretty interesting and it’s definitely something I’d check out. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Invisible Man trailer

I’m going to start off by saying I think Elizabeth Moss is a very talented actress and I seriously think she could do better than this movie. I can tell from the trailer she’s giving it her all with a flimsy script. The story looks decent enough but for the most part it looks like a fairly typical horror movie; the positive is at least it’s not part of Universal’s Dark Universe with the failed The Mummy (2017) . The Grudge 2020 trailer

I’m not going to lie, I’ve never been a fan of the last, American Grudge remake that swept my middle school when I was a kid along with the American Ring remake. Whereas the last remake kept much of the Japanese influence, the 2020 movie seems to have scrapped it completely. For the most part it looks like a generic horror movie and I can’t see much promise in it. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Antlers trailer

Just when I think horror maybe dying, I find something damn interesting. Antlers has some striking visuals I wouldn’t expect anything less from Del Toro. I’m pretty hooked to find out what this creature is but I’m glad you don’t see much of it in the trailer. I’m pretty excited for Antlers now. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Bloodshot trailer 1

Bloodshot is the latest in a long, endless line of comic book movies that I have to admit looks pretty badass. The effects are pretty awesome and the plot looks fairly interesting. The only thing that makes me nervous is that Sony is doing it, but after Venom and Dark Tower it’s a fair enough concern. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

The Turning trailer

For the millionth time; I’m really starting to think Hollywood is running out of ideas. The Turning is a modern telling of the classic horror story “The Turning of the Screw” and while I’d say this movie seems to be filmed pretty well, this looks generic as hell. I can’t say this movie is fully to blame, the source material is classic and has surely influenced countless others, but that being said this looks like every evil kid/ haunted house story ever.
