Aegis Force: The Scorian War was sent to me as a bemo by the people over at Deseret Game Studios, and I always appreciate it. For those who haven’t heard of it, think of it as a tactical grid game, similar to the old Fire Emblem Games or Shining Force, if you skip the zoomed-in attack scenes.
The story begins quite simply: you play as a small group of soldiers and friends in a forest, attempting to solve a mystery. That mystery is why supplies continue to go missing. It doesn’t take long to discover it is due to a local cult kidnapping people and stealing the supplies. This results in a few battles that teach you how the game will work. If you have ever played one of these games, the controls are already really comfortable.
I definitely recommend playing this one with a controller; it just feels better. The mouse and keyboard are absolutely doable, don’t get me wrong, the controller just feels right. The demo has plenty of treasure to be found enemies to be fought, and all around does a great job showing you the potential this game has. Will it live up the the hype of the golden days of grid-based RPGs? I can’t say from a demo. What I can say is the demo paints a picture of a game that is being made by people who love and respect the genre, and that is enough to make me look forward to the full release. Best wishes, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
The king of historical simulation games returns this year with a first for the series. The remake of ROTTK8 comes with completely redrawn graphics for the officers as well as reworked graphics for everything else. They have also added entirely new features to the game itself, in what is called tales, you will see new scenes to help you build a bond between officers, with a “what to do next” tab to see what you should be doing to see these play out.
Another new feature will be the destiny system that show the connection between two officers. These include positive (symbiotic) and negative (antagonistic) feelings towards each other.
With plenty of new features and graphics, this year will be the perfect time to visit the series, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Here are some words from the creator in this 30th anniversary.
Comment from Takami Akai
“I am so grateful that Princess Maker 2, which was created 30 years ago, is still loved by many people and that a new version is being released. This time, I was finally able to achieve the graphic renewal that I had always wanted! Please enjoy the newly drawn vacation and ending.”
Hopefully you will enjoy this one as much many others have over the last few decades, and may the Gaming gods bring you glory.
Lesson Learned: Cult of Elizabeth has a prologue out now that’s free, but the company was nice enough to send it to me. Admittedly it is short consisting of only 3 battles that you can beat probably in less than an hour.
It does demonstrate the game pretty well however. You and a friend (either a real one or a computer that is easily directed what to do) collect resources such as wood or stone and you build towers to defend your base. As you kill enemies your base collects power from them and it will automatically move along the path. After you get to the end of the path and you defeat all the enemies, you finish the level.
You can see what types of enemies are coming next at the top of the screen
This simple loop is quite engaging and easy to make yourself in. Lesson Learned,Cult of Elizabeth is definitely on my list of games to check out and with the prologue being free to check out on Xbox and steam it is worth your time to check out. Best wishes and may the Gaming gods bring you glory.

The technologies, side quests, police quests, and events will not be region locked anymore. In the inventory and the Fast Apparatus Placement windows, players will have the ability to discard unwanted batches and apparatuses. All the maps will be fully accessible to the player at all times. Depending on the base chosen to start with, all deliveries will start from there. All stashes will be open from the get-go.
Additionally, the Sandbox will give options effects.
