Lesson Learned: Cult of Elizabeth has a prologue out now that’s free, but the company was nice enough to send it to me. Admittedly it is short consisting of only 3 battles that you can beat probably in less than an hour.
It does demonstrate the game pretty well however. You and a friend (either a real one or a computer that is easily directed what to do) collect resources such as wood or stone and you build towers to defend your base. As you kill enemies your base collects power from them and it will automatically move along the path. After you get to the end of the path and you defeat all the enemies, you finish the level.
You can see what types of enemies are coming next at the top of the screen
This simple loop is quite engaging and easy to make yourself in. Lesson Learned,Cult of Elizabeth is definitely on my list of games to check out and with the prologue being free to check out on Xbox and steam it is worth your time to check out. Best wishes and may the Gaming gods bring you glory.
Publisher Ratalaika Games, and 9Ratones’ Sergio Poverony, are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of ‘Zombies, Aliens and Guns’, a, stylised and exciting challenge, “Run and Gun” top down shooter with a clever mix of 2D pixels and 3D graphics.
Zombies Aliens and Guns will release April 26th on all Sony, Microsoft consoles and PC.
This is going to be far from a full review, but after spending about 20 hours with it I think it’s a good time to talk about how I feel about this one.
First,I loved the original and still count Persona 3 FEZ as one of the best JRPGs of all time. Reload obviously had a lot to live up to.
Now for starters the graphics look great. Not the best obviously but for a remaster of a game so old I didn’t expect some sort of ground breaking graphics simply an upgrade and it is a massive one.
Classroom shenanigans return
The gameplay is of course where this game shines, and the day to day activities of increasing social links or stats like courage, intelligence or charm. This is a very addictive loop,if you allow yourself to connect with the characters themselves. The old couple in the book store aren’t very interesting to me but my friend loves them because they remind them of their grandparents. On the other hand, getting to know the classmate dating a teacher is great to me not because I relate to him but simply because of how nonchalant the whole thing seems to be.
Always find the weak spot
Combat is fluid, tho not always very difficult unless you are playing on the harder difficulty setting where hitting weak spots and using Buffs/Debuffs along with negative status effects becomes very important. One of the first bosses was stomping me into the ground until I managed to poison them. A few rounds later they were dead.
This is where things get interesting tho, many people rush through the tower simply to get back to the story. Others ignore much of the side story stuff for the tower. I love that because it means the game has something for most people,or like me I will lose close to 100 hours trying to do it all. With the game on gamepass, there isn’t a good reason not to try this one out. Best wishes, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Broken Roads is an upcoming narrative RPG set in a post apocalyptic Australia, which yes seems a little redundant considering everything there wants to kill us.
The game also has a moral compass system where each decision you make will affect the quest and dialogue options you get. Check out some game play and the release date announcement trailer below, personally November 14th can’t come soon enough for fans of Xbox and PC. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
We all know I love a good city builder or simulation game. Hell we all know here at Savior Gaming I even enjoy the bad ones. But today, I want to show you Highrise city.
Here are some of the main things to look for to enjoy, as well as the trailer. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
A game that changed
Looking back, the game which went into Early Access originally is a different one from what Highrise City is today – from visual overhauls to more complex resource systems. From reworked UIs to massive performance upgrades, allowing players to build multi million citizen cities. With countless huge updates the gameplay was shaped during the development process of Highrise City. Players can now look forward to a competent city builder which gives them the control over everything.
New features to explore
The release update comes loaded with new features. New players can experience a small story and take on research missions. Power lines now have to be built, including substations. Shopping Malls are required by the citizens and mega skyscrapers can be unlocked during the late game. And if players manage to build a multi staged space port they can even unlock New Game+ content with alternate building modes for experienced players.
The transport is public now operational
And yet there’s more. Public transport through buses is now available. Players can set up custom lines to reduce traffic in their massive cities. New resources are available, mayors also need to take care of hazardous waste and the overall balancing, performance and features got slightly finetuned and improved.
The time has come to finally start building mega cities like you’ve never seen them before. With millions of inhabitants, a complex economy system and well balanced systems for beginners and experts.
Tamarak Trail, the upcoming turn-based deck-building roguelike from Yarrow Games and Versus Evil, has received a new blog post going behind the scenes on the creation of its varied bestiary ahead of the game’s launch later this summer on PC, Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox Series consoles.
This post offers a sneak peek at some of the scary monsters you’ll encounter on your travels. These range from rank and file mosquitos and ghost dogs to the more muscular Sluggards and Beetle Weasels. There’s even a first look at the game’s first boss, the dreaded Racoon Moose. Tamarak Trail’s Canadian folklore-inspired forests are brimming with dangers, so even the most minuscule threat could quickly become a force to be reckoned with, as your foes will work together, using their unique skills to heal each other, summon backup, and buff their companions.
These are just some of the monsters you’ll encounter on the trail; No two runs will be the same, so you may encounter more of one monster type versus the other. Remember, knowledge is only half the battle here. Strategy and dice customization will also go a long way!
More about Tamarak Trail As a member of a secret society named the Sturgeon Lodge it’s up to you to piece together the mystery of a decaying earth, hunt down the source of this corruption and put a stop to it at all costs. Embarking on this adventure, you can choose one of three characters; The Magician, the Tracker or the Detective, each with their own unique abilities and traits. Depending on your preferred playstyle, the character’s different skills and attributes allow you to craft a unique strategy for your character as they navigate the ominous trail. Procedurally-generated paths create a myriad of possibilities where you can encounter events, monsters, campsites, treasure and more. Every new discovery reveals new bonuses and strategies to explore.
To combat the monsters and nefarious foes you’ll encounter, you’ll have to be tactical in your dice-building, as each face could mean the difference between victory or defeat. Different dice sides can be used to attack directly, apply buffs and debuffs, inflict damage over time, defend yourself, to “flip” them to another side for combo awesomeness and much more. You can even apply “dice cores” to secure passive abilities. You’re given direct control of your dice rolls, and getting them to smack together allows you to create killer combo attacks. In true deck-builder fashion, dice faces can be customized with more abilities after each victory, adding new attacks, defenses and combinations to take forward into future battles.
