For those that enjoyed Bowser’s inside story you will be happy to know that in 2019 a remake will be coming to the 3Ds. If it follows the same pattern as other remakes such as Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions this will involve updated graphics and a bunch of new story content. As a horror fan, of course I’m a Resident Evil fan but I can’t say I really played the Revelations games. Friends and fellow fans give them good reviews but I just never played them. Well, I got Episode 1 of Revelations 2 (which the fact the game is episodic kind of pissed me off at first) Playing a decent chunk of the game however, I found quite a lot of things I really liked.
Series veteran Claire Redfield and Moira Burton (daughter of RE alum Barry from the first game) get kidnapped during a fancy fundraiser and taken to a dark, dank, underground prison where some biological experiments have gone on and they have to survive while being surveyed by a raspy voiced watcher.
First I have to say I love the game’s familiar controls just made more fluid; standard controls feel like 4 but made quickened and the partner switching is just as fluid and easy as it was in 0. Aiming is easy and quick but I have felt a bit airy when shooting- like something about shooting gave me a feeling at first like I may have been missing when I wasn’t. Moira’s part is interesting. She pretty much mans a flashlight and a crowbar, using the light to blind zombies or find hidden items while using the crowbar to defend yourself or Claire. I never found her useless like prior sidekicks and her A.I isn’t brain dead either and vice versa. The monsters I found so far are…well, Resident Evil standard, gooey, gory, and want you dead. Did I find them scary, eh not really but never the less the bastards weren’t paper people either. I get why the story is episodic now but I still wished it was just one game. In the end, I want to finish it up and enjoy it because I think it will be good. May the gaming gods bring you glory, and dammit no one wants to be a Jill Sandwich.
Last night while many of us slept, at least most of us Americans, in the land of the Rising Sun which I think may just be a popular western name for Japan there was some new Kingdom Hearts 3 information. The big info as you can see from the picture is there will be a Monsters Inc level. Ok thats not the big info tho its cool, the big info is they confirmed that 2018 will be the year we finally play the game, and the release date will be announced at E3 this year. For those that have been waiting, it will be a good year, now enjoy some trailers.

Sea of Thieves is a multiplayer pirate game where you and your friends will attempt to plunder the sea in order to get rich. The game isn’t to far away with a March 20th release date and has some nice graphics. Saw returns with a vengeance in 2018. Jigsaw hit blu-ray and dvd and Dead by Daylight. Watching bits and pieces, I can’t lie, the game looks like a horror nerd’s dream come true. I drooled (figuratively of course) at the footage of Michael Myers go. We’ve also gotten additions with Freddy Kruger and Leatherface as well. Now comes Saw’s turn, getting to play as the infamous pig-masked stalker looks cool and the Gideon Meat Plant looks like a perfect match for the game. Crossing Souls is an action adventure game where a group of kids find a powerful object they don’t quite understand, and must traverse two planes of existence to save their town from a government conspiracy. As the trailer shows it borrows heavily from decades of pop culture references and seems quite interesting, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Gravel is an upcoming racing game set to release in February and doesn’t focus on one style of racing exactly, there will be dirt tracts as well as sand and standard street style race courses. The game it self looks magnificent and the sound track so far sounds amazing for rock music fans. The race genre isn’t exactly lacking, but this style has left much to be desired for many of its fans and hopefully this will fill that gap nicely. Shiny is a rare game in todays world, it is a non violent game of a robot finding a way to harvest energy to save himself and his friends as his planet hurdles towards the sun as they were left behind. This side scrolling adventure actually looks quite charming and cute as the trailer below will convince you of. The company that made it also has a curious name, Garage 227.
