Metal Gear Survive

download

When I first saw this game I had the same thought many people had. What the hell is this and what did you do to Metal Gear. Tho as I am not a huge fan of the series I kept an open mind saw a few trailers like the following that gives a few more details.

After seeing that with some of the good looking visuals and see how the game will function more I have actually changed my mind from my initial “What the hell” reaction. It really now more of a WTF reaction. The game doesn’t look bad, and honestly it might just be because it is so different from the rest of the series it just seems so vastly different that it almost seems heart breaking to have the Metal Gear name. I will admit tho that it does seem rather interesting and I am not against playing this one, but I will be waiting on reviews and a sale for this one after its February 20th release date. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory

Final Fantasy Dissidia Beta Review

download (1)

First thing is first, I never played the other games. This one looks beautiful however and the controls are about as fluid as they could possibly be. The characters list is also great, as a Final Fantasy fan I was thrilled to take on Seph with the likes of Cloud and  Squall (Leon for you Kingdom Hearts fans) That being said, the game itself bored me. The battle system while worked great just wasn’t fun. The battles where mostly  matter of button mashing then switching attacks to finish a kill where they would simply come back to keep fighting. And this continued until you scored enough points or time ran out, if time ran out both teams lost regardless of what the score was. Many people will like this one, but for me this is a definitely won’t buy. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Xbox Games release dates leaked?

download (8)

According to express.co.uk the release dates for both Crackdown 3 (Friday june 29th) and State of decay (Friday May 25th) have been leaked on Spanish Amazon tho Microsoft has yet to make an official statement at the time of me writing this. This would actually be a pretty huge leak that many people would be excited for, however I would take this with a huge grain of salt as many of these leaks are simply placeholder dates. But heres hoping. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Xbox Finally outsells PlayStation this holiday?

download (7)

As the title asked, did Xbox for the first time outsell Sony this holiday season? I won’t bore you to much and drag this out. according to comicbook.com the answer is yes, but there is a small catch. The Nintendo Switch beat them both. This has actually come as a surprise to many people on all fronts, myself included. Nintendo in recent years even tho the Wii was massively successful struggled with the Wii U. That being said it is great to see all 3 consoles selling so well, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
