Spyro The Dragon Remastered

As a young Savior I enjoyed dragons. Posters, little figures, stuffed animales. Had a bunch of them. Then I played the first Spyro the game. The 2nd and third were solid enough but the first always has a special place in my heart. So hearing about a remaster to come to PS4 later this year according to gamespot and others really brightened my weekend. Supposedly it will include the original trilogy we will see what it brings as a lot of details aren’t available. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

 

New Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailers and News

Last night while many of us slept, at least most of us Americans, in the land of the Rising Sun which I think may just be a popular western name for Japan there was some new Kingdom Hearts 3 information. The big info as you can see from the picture is there will be a Monsters Inc level. Ok thats not the big info tho its cool, the big info is they confirmed that 2018 will be the year we finally play the game, and the release date will be announced at E3 this year. For those that have been waiting, it will be a good year, now enjoy some trailers.

 

I honestly am not completely sold on the game, and after such a long wait I feel most people will be disappointed anyway and it can’t possibly live up to expectations, but it will sell a crazy amount of copies. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Deadpool 2 Release Date Changed

Now before anyone loses their mind, I will throw the this out there first. It was only moved by about 2 weeks from June 1st to May 18th ( Yes it came forward) according to rumors reported by Polygon.com and for a rather interesting reason. Since the Fox/Disney many have speculated it may be because of that, but actually they simply don’t want so many of the X-men movies to be competing with each other in international theaters, which honestly is a good idea. A few of the other movies have also been shuffled around and reportedly the director of the long rumored to be in trouble Gambit movie has actually left the project. Xbox Career mode?

If rumors are to be believed yea sort of.  Gamesradar and others are reporting that Microsoft is working on a sort of career mode that will work alongside your gamerscore that will allow you to unlock goodies for your avatar, tho the lootboxes allegedly won’t be purchasable with real world money. It will track such things as time spent in games and things you do, tho there aren’t to many details currently available the idea that lootboxes will be involved makes me a bit nervous since they usually end up involving money. Xbox Games release dates leaked?

According to express.co.uk the release dates for both Crackdown 3 (Friday june 29th) and State of decay (Friday May 25th) have been leaked on Spanish Amazon tho Microsoft has yet to make an official statement at the time of me writing this. This would actually be a pretty huge leak that many people would be excited for, however I would take this with a huge grain of salt as many of these leaks are simply placeholder dates. Xbox Finally outsells PlayStation this holiday?

As the title asked, did Xbox for the first time outsell Sony this holiday season? I won’t bore you to much and drag this out. according to comicbook.com the answer is yes, but there is a small catch. The Nintendo Switch beat them both. This has actually come as a surprise to many people on all fronts, myself included. Nintendo in recent years even tho the Wii was massively successful struggled with the Wii U. That being said it is great to see all 3 consoles selling so well, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Dark Souls Remastered

Well the title says a lot. The following video will say much more.

 

Now the video and the title will say a lot, but there is more info out there. For example there is a trilogy box set that comes with Dark Souls one ,two and three along with a ton of other stuff like art books, book ends and other assorted items, and all for the low low price of $450 (American) Now that won’t be in the cards for me and the sooner than expected release date of May 25th.

What does the remaster include? Well 1080 graphics on the PlayStation and Xbox one as well as upscaled 4K graphics on the One X and Pro with native 4K on the PC. I do have some concerns tho, the original dark souls was damn near broken at times and it basically required manipulating broken hit boxes and camera angles as opposed to actual skill. Dark Souls 2 to a lesser extent had a similar problem but Scholar of the First Sin fixed those amazingly, and I really hope the remaster of DS1 does the same. I am personally excited but optimistic. Resident Evil 2 Remake news soon?

Many of you may know that about 2 years ago Capcom confirmed they were remaking Resident Evil 2, but since than nothing has really been said.  Recently tho Express.co.uk has pointed out as have many fans that the Japanese Twitter for the company has updated their picture to all the games recently released with 1 gap, the gap where you would think Resident Evil 2 would be.  The link to is here best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Mega Man X collection And Mega Man 11

This week has seen some big news for fans of the Blue bomber himself. If you happen to be a fan of the old Mega Man X games as I am, you are about to be excited. Officially we are getting a collection similar to the Previous collections. This however may not be the most exciting news about our favorite 8 bit blue man. For the first time since 2010 there will be a brand new Mega Man game in 2018. Admittedly I don’t know how to feel about this, the last few were less than amazing and a small part of me thinks maybe the series just needs to stop.
