When I first saw this game I had the same thought many people had. What the hell is this and what did you do to Metal Gear. Tho as I am not a huge fan of the series I kept an open mind saw a few trailers like the following that gives a few more details.

After seeing that with some of the good looking visuals and see how the game will function more I have actually changed my mind from my initial “What the hell” reaction. It really now more of a WTF reaction. The game doesn’t look bad, and honestly it might just be because it is so different from the rest of the series it just seems so vastly different that it almost seems heart breaking to have the Metal Gear name. I will admit tho that it does seem rather interesting and I am not against playing this one, but I will be waiting on reviews and a sale for this one after its February 20th release date. Final Fantasy Dissidia Beta Review

First thing is first, I never played the other games. This one looks beautiful however and the controls are about as fluid as they could possibly be. The characters list is also great, as a Final Fantasy fan I was thrilled to take on Seph with the likes of Cloud and Squall (Leon for you Kingdom Hearts fans) That being said, the game itself bored me. The battle system while worked great just wasn’t fun. The battles where mostly matter of button mashing then switching attacks to finish a kill where they would simply come back to keep fighting. And this continued until you scored enough points or time ran out, if time ran out both teams lost regardless of what the score was. Many people will like this one, but for me this is a definitely won’t buy. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Xbox Career mode?

If rumors are to be believed yea sort of. Gamesradar and others are reporting that Microsoft is working on a sort of career mode that will work alongside your gamerscore that will allow you to unlock goodies for your avatar, tho the lootboxes allegedly won’t be purchasable with real world money. It will track such things as time spent in games and things you do, tho there aren’t to many details currently available the idea that lootboxes will be involved makes me a bit nervous since they usually end up involving money. Xbox Games release dates leaked?

According to express.co.uk the release dates for both Crackdown 3 (Friday june 29th) and State of decay (Friday May 25th) have been leaked on Spanish Amazon tho Microsoft has yet to make an official statement at the time of me writing this. This would actually be a pretty huge leak that many people would be excited for, however I would take this with a huge grain of salt as many of these leaks are simply placeholder dates. Xbox Finally outsells PlayStation this holiday?

As the title asked, did Xbox for the first time outsell Sony this holiday season? I won’t bore you to much and drag this out. according to comicbook.com the answer is yes, but there is a small catch. The Nintendo Switch beat them both. This has actually come as a surprise to many people on all fronts, myself included. Nintendo in recent years even tho the Wii was massively successful struggled with the Wii U. That being said it is great to see all 3 consoles selling so well, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Preview)

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is another Wii U game being sent over to the switch with some added content, and this time around it will be local multiplayer which each person using one joy-con each. I couldn’t find to many details about what else is new about the game, but the trailer looks nice. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Payday 2 Switch (Preview)

Payday is a game of going on a crime spree, where the team cooperates as the heist get bigger and better as do the rewards. You will become more infamous as time go on, and at Nintendo Direct they announced you and your friends will get to enjoy this on the Switch. I have to admit seeing all these more mature games on the Switch is very nice, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

SNK heroines is another Nintendo Mini Direct announcment, and this time will focus on the women of the SNK world. Mario Tennis Aces is now coming to the Nintendo switch, and for the first time in years it will also have a story mode. Tennis isn’t for everyone, but for some reason adding Mario to the sport just makes people go nuts.
