E3 2019 Jedi Fallen Order gameplay demo

 

E3 of 2019 has begun and EA set the stage. We got our first real gameplay demo of the upcoming Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. If this was coming from any other publisher I’d be excited as hell. The game looks beautiful, the combat looks awesome and the force powers look fun but I’m weary as hell. I want this game to succeed. I want an epic Star Wars game; it’s been about a decade since the first Force Unleashed game and we are long overdue. At best I’m cautiously optimistic to say the least. Changes to Destiny 2 Coming, Including Free to Play Base Game

As the title says, there are some substantial changes coming to Destiny 2 in an attempt to bring in new players and bring back some of the older ones. One of those changes, as reported by engadget.com is that the base game will become free to play come September 17th when the next expansion Shadowkeep releases.

Polygon is also reporting that we will also see cross save between PS4, Xbox one, PC and Stadia. The idea is to unify the entire world of Destiny 2 so nobody feels they are singled out away from their friends, even exclusive content is being done away with.

While this may be way to little far to late for some fans, I do think this is a step in the right direction and will probably be picked up by many other games and companies in the future. Select PS3 Naughty Dog Servers Shutting Down in September

As the title says, select Naughty Dog titles online aspects on PS3 will be shutting down on September 3rd, and those titles include The Last of Us and Uncharted 2 as well as Uncharted 3. On the bright side until then comicbooks.com reports all the multiplayer DLC for those games will be free.

Google Discontinues YouTube Gaming App

According to Gamespot as of May 30th Google will be discontinuing the YouTube Gaming App. The company recommends merging your subscription to keep most of your settings. They are obviously attempting to get things ready for the Stadia and their promised integration with YouTube. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Pokemon Sword And Shield Coming June 5th

As announced by Polygon on June 5th at 9 A.M. ET on their Twitch and YouTube channels there will be a Nintendo Direct dedicated to the upcoming Pokemon RPG games that will release in 2019. They are promising all new details on the games, as well as a Nintendo Direct on June 11th ahead of this years E3. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Utawarerumono: ZAN Trailer

Utawarerumono: ZAN is an upcoming Brawler from our friends over at NIS America coming out September 10th in North America. The first trailer features fighters with very different fighting styles, including one with a bird she has trained. While I am personally not a fan of this style of game this one appears to be a nice addition to the genre, watch the trailer below and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Telltale Games on GOG Being Delisted

As reported from PcGamer that unless you purchase the TellTale games prior to 6pm ET on May 27th you won’t be able to buy them from GOG anymore as the yare being delisted. It is being assumed that after the collapse of the company last year sent the rights back to companies that do not have distribution agreements with GOG, and this really makes the most sense when it comes down to it. I can’t imagine this being a permanent thing however since I doubt the owners would want them not making money. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Pokemon Go Community Day Will be June 8th and feature Slakoth

As you can see there will be a Slakoth community day June 8th, and will as always give us a shiny variant. The usual rules will also apply, 3-6 pm local time,3 hours lures and eggs hatching at a quarter distance.
