Some Devs Say to Pirate Games Instead of Buying From G2A

Normally gaming developers would refer you don’t steal from them and buy their games. It is this weird thing they like called making money. PCGamer however reports that many game devs, such as Rami Ismail and Ragesquid are outright telling people that if they can’t buy the game at full price, instead of buying from a key reseller just pirate the game.

See the issue is they spend a lot of time and money to investigate fake keys and other such issues, and it cost them more than you stealing the game would in the first place. Obviously you should always buy your games so these people make the money they deserve, but I understand where they are coming from. If they aren’t going to make money anyway, why should they lose more money when they have to investigate these things. So best wishes, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Stadia Games Will Not be Cheaper than Console or PC Counterparts

Recently Stadia boss Phil Harrison told Eurogamer “I don’t know why it would be cheaper” in reference to the price of games. This honestly doesn’t surprise me at all honestly as digital games aren’t any cheaper than physical copies anyway despite obviously being cheaper to distribute. While it will be nice to be able to play on just about any screen, the idea that they were ever going to be cheaper is ridiculous to me. Besides the extra cost of creating this new format it, they want all the profit they can possibly get. While there is a free option and a $10 a month option (more details on that here ) and that will help, they obviously won’t want to cut into that else ware. Regardles, it will be interesting. Amazon Prime day 2019 Announced

For those that are curious, the annual Amazon Prime Day sale that takes place every summer for site wide sales, and is basically a huge chance to save a ton of money for fans of games and movies,have been announced. It will start July 15th at 3AM ET and end July 17th at midnight. Wizards Unite Makes 300k in First 24 Hours

The title really says it all honestly. SensorTower research says the game pulled in around 400 thousand installs and 300 thousand dollars in the first day alone, meaning the game seems to be another success for the makers of Pokemon Go Niantic. The game itself is more or less a clone of Pokemon Go, even the Pokestops and such are the same in each game. This isn’t really a bad thing tho. Go give your fandom of choice a shot. Speed Forme Deoxys and Shiny Spinda Coming to Pokemon Go

For those getting a bit bored with the EX raids lately, Starting June 23rd the Speed Forme of Deoxy. This isn’t the only new Pokemon coming up tho Starting July first Spinda will be part of the field research, and this will include the Shiny Spinda variant.  At that time Latias,Latios, Kyogre and Groudon will also be the 7 day research rewards. It will be a pretty good chance for newer people to expand their Pokedex, but for long time players the only exciting news here is possibly the Shiny and Deoxys. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is now available on IOS and Android, and is the newest game from Niantic. It is a lot like Pokemon Go in the sense that you walk around the real world to different real locations. They actually seem to match up with the gyms from Pokemon Go. I haven’t gotten to check it out to much, so I am not going to review it or go into details yet, but I did want to make sure you all knew the game was available in case you some how missed it. Carrion Game-play: E3 2019

I have to thank our mutual friend, Autobot for this one. He is a weird horror game where we play as amorphous beast whose sole purpose is to devour living people and grow. I really like the art style and it’s surprisingly gory. It’s a simple premise that follows through and I can say I’d happily try it out. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood E3 trailer

I was genuinely amazed how much I loved Wolfenstein: The new Order though I regret to say I haven’t gotten to catch up with the Old Blood or New Colossus. Young Blood looks like everything I loved about the first game with the awesome addition of Co-op, which means a blast for Savior and me. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Release Date and Trailer

 

Time to piss some of you off. I have been pretty up front about my love for Final Fantasy 7 and the series as a whole, and I have been pretty up front about my feelings about this game. Why A 2019 Final Fantasy 7 Remake Would Be Too Little Too Late For Me

This week we saw the battle system in action and found out this first release of the multiple game release for Final Fantasy 7 remake would simply be inside of Midgar. They have been pretty up front about this being expanded upon greatly, but honestly considering it will be a fully priced game and the fact that I have already played the whole story, and other games like Witcher 3 and Elder Scrolls Skyrim have been hundreds of hours at release, I see no reason for this game to be this way outside of Square Enix using it as a massive cash grab because they know fans, including myself, will buy it anyway.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think this will be a short game. It will be beautiful and surely 40-60 hours long, of that I have no doubt. But they are still splitting up a game that doesn’t need to be split up just to sell it multiple times.

The battle system also seems weird, like they are attempting to placate older fans with the ATB system while making it more appealing to newer fans with it being more action oriented, and in the end this won’t really make anyone truly happy. it will mostly be mashing buttons to charge up the gauge and use an item or an attack then to mash more buttons. The materia being shown in weapons is pretty cool, and I like that idea. But to say I have some issues and concerns, is putting it mildly. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
