This July we are getting exactly what we need in 2019, a movie about alligators that show up during a hurricane in Florida. Honestly, I feel like most of the movie was given away in the trailer, but hey who knows, judge for yourself. I personally think the movie looks pretty bad. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

HBO Watchmen teaser
When I heard HBO was rebooting the Watchmen, one of the most important graphic novel stories ever, I was pretty intrigued. While I had no issue with the movie and actually thought it improved some things, I was curious what could be done. The first teaser looks interesting and the dark tone is there. I’m curious if this is meant to be before or after the events of Watchmen, considering the cult of people wearing Rorschach’s mask, I’m leaning towards after. I am curious what they’ll come up with. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Spider-Man Far From Home Trailer (Endgame Spoilers Inside)
As I have stated in the title, and you will be warned in the trailer itself, there are extensive spoilers for Endgame in this trailer. If you haven’t seen it, don’t watch it. The trailer, however, is good, and I am looking forward to this new phase in movies. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Spider-man: Far from Home trailer 2
I have to say I had to chuckle that they start the trailer with a spoiler warning for Avengers: Endgame from Tom Holland, who was notorious for spoiling stuff during Infinity War. I have to say, being a long time Spidey fan , I think I figured out the plot from this latest trailer but I’ll call it out in the review. Mysterio looks great and the monsters look pretty cool. I think it’ll be a cool movie and it has the potential to be a great sequel. May the gaming gods brig you glory.
Sonic Offical Trailer
This is going to be a beautiful train wreck. Seriously, I want to go see this in theaters. It is going to be the movie of 2019 people enjoy but nobody admits too and gets horrible reviews. It will be this generation Super Mario Bros. wherein a few years we look back at it fondly but we know it wasn’t a good movie, but we enjoyed it anyway. So enjoy this moment of WTF did I just watch from a movie nobody asked for, but we got anyway. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Child’s Play trailer 2
I’m pretty sure the reason I’m invested in this remake, much like many of us are since the epic reveal, boils down to two words: Mark Hamil. I was all smiling at the end hearing his version of Chucky and I think he’ll steal the show. I’m interested how Chucky can now control tech almost Watch Dogs style. Other than that, it looks decent but I have some fair hopes. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
The Addams Family trailer 1
As a kid I loved the hell out of the Addams Family and the movies that came out in the 90’s, but I have to admit I was kind of bewildered that we were getting a animated movie in 2019. While I like the opening of the trailer, I wasn’t too impressed with the rest of it. I think there is talent in the cast but I’ve never been a fan of this kind of animation. I giggled at the Pennywise joke I have to admit it. I would find myself watching this just because of how much I liked the original, but I don’t have really high hopes. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Annabelle comes home trailer
Am I the only one who finds it weird that that are officially more Annabelle movies than Conjuring movies in the Conjuring-universe? I love The Conjuring (2013) and thought The Conjuring 2 was alright but never understood why the hell WB thought making a cinematic universe out of these movies was a good idea, Annabelle: Creation being the only one in the series of spin-offs to be critically acclaimed. What to I make of Annabelle 3? Sadly I can’t say it’ll join Creation as the exception; I like the Warrens are actually in it and one or shot look cool but the rest of the trailer just feels like every other bland horror movie out there today. I hope I’m wrong as an optimist but time will tell. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
The Joker trailer 1
I’ve always had a weird feeling about knowing Joker was getting a solo origin movie. Much like Venom , I wasn’t sure if a villain movie could be as effective without the heroes they counter. But Joaquin Phoenix is a very talented dramatic actor and I actually found the new look interesting. The trailer looks eerie and I like Phoenix’s narrations. I’m now pretty invested in this now and I’m excited to see how the movie plays out. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Scary stories to tell in the dark trailer
I loved the Scary Stories trilogy ever since our teachers used to read them to us in grade school. When I heard their was going to be a movie, I at first thought it was going to be like the Goosebumps but then I found out Guillermo Del Toro was a part of it and the images started coming out. It was awesome to see the iconic artwork from the books come to life. This does not look like a children’s movie, rather than a real horror movie and I’m pretty excited to see how it turns out. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
