Final Fantasy 8 Remastered Release date

The release date has finally been released, and for those that don’t want to listen to me talk or watch the beautiful trailer below, that date is September 3rd, 2019. The 20 year anniversary is bringing us upgraded visuals, 3X speed boost, no encounters, and even battle assist if you want to. Or you can just break the game the old fashioned way and get the Lionheart on the first disk by abusing the card game and the junction system. You can also just play the game normally which is what I intend to do.

Final Fantasy 8 has long since been one of the more argued over games in the series as it seems people love or hate it, tho the Triple Triad game is universally loved it seems. ( I probably logged 20 or 30 hours into just that as a kid on just my first playthrough) I fall into the I love it camp, so this for me is going to be a must-have so look for a review sometime in early to mid-September. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Endgame Writer Explains Why There Was No Thanos/Hulk Rematch

ScreenRant recently talked about how co-writer of Avengers Endgame Stephen McFeely finally answered the question of why we never got to see that Hulk vs Thanos rematch many of us looked forward to. As one of the people that was initially annoyed by this I have to admit, it makes a lot of sense. The general idea is simple. After the snap, he learned to be more one with the Hulk and became Smart Hulk as the MCU calls him. Because of this, it was no longer a driving force for him to fight Thanos or anyone else.

That is it, that is why we never got our rematch. Because Smart Hulk had no desire to fight him again. Now while this does make sense, I will admit I still would have enjoyed seeing this. Going forward tho smart hulk can be quite fun to watch. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

The Rock, Vin Diesel and Jason Statham Can’t lose fights

Yes, you read that right, according to Screenrant all three have contract stipulations that forbid them from losing fights, and even have a clause that dictates how many times they can be punched in a movie. This isn’t really all that odd tho, the internet is full of examples of stars having things, both odd and not so odd in their contracts. It does seem a bit odd tho, and maybe even egotistical to have such a thing written in there tho. To each their own tho. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Disney+ can be an Add on for Hulu

While the exact price for this hasn’t been announced yetGamesradar has reported that Hulus SVP has stated you will be able to get Hulu and Disney+  ( tho Disney plus will cost 6.99 a month or 69.99a year on its own) as a package deal. I would assume it will cost around $10 a month as a package but that is just speculation on my part so take that with a huge grain of salt. Regardless, I am sure it will be a pretty fair deal. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Pillars of Eternity Coming to Switch August

The Obsidian Entertainment Pillars of  Eternity that has already been ported to every other current-gen system will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, with all of its DLC and expansions. It is also worth noting its follow up, Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire is also heading to the Switch. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Vin Diesel Confirms Riddick 4: Furya Script is Complete

Almost 20 years ago we saw the breakout role of Vin Diesel titled Pitch Black. The movie was about a criminal named Riddick that could see in the dark and was one of the more feared people in existence. There have been occasional movies in the series ever since and recently Vin Diesel took to Instagram with a video showing us the completed scripted for the fourth installment titled Furya. Little else is known about the movie but judging by the name it seems we will learn more about Riddick’s homeworld and learn more about his past. Hopefully we will have more details soon. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

When Thor 4 Confirmed to be in MCU Timeline

As reported by cinemablend as many people have been wondering ever since Thor Love and Thunder was announced, where the hell could this movie take place in the MCU timeline? With Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and Thor leaving with them where does Thor 4 take place? Well, writer James Gunn ended that discussion with one word. “Before” So that settles it, Thor Love and  Thunder takes place before Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Now it is just a matter of waiting for their inevitable release. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

James Cameron Congratulates Endgame on Beating Avatar

As reported by Screenrant James Cameron had a message shared by the official Avatar twitter congratulating Marvels Endgame on ending the 20 year run of Avatars box office dominance. Not to be outdone the Russo Brothers pointed out to James he is a big reason they fell in love with movies in the first place and can’t see where he takes them next.

Many people are already speculating how long the run of Endgame will last, with some saying the next Avatar may even be the one to top Endgame. However, I think it’s a bit too early to be considering any of that since Endgame, for now, is still in theaters. Let’s see where it ends and enjoy the moment. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
