Some Devs Say to Pirate Games Instead of Buying From G2A

Normally gaming developers would refer you don’t steal from them and buy their games. It is this weird thing they like called making money. PCGamer however reports that many game devs, such as Rami Ismail and Ragesquid are outright telling people that if they can’t buy the game at full price, instead of buying from a key reseller just pirate the game.

See the issue is they spend a lot of time and money to investigate fake keys and other such issues, and it cost them more than you stealing the game would in the first place. Obviously you should always buy your games so these people make the money they deserve, but I understand where they are coming from. If they aren’t going to make money anyway, why should they lose more money when they have to investigate these things. So best wishes, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Stadia Games Will Not be Cheaper than Console or PC Counterparts

Recently Stadia boss Phil Harrison told Eurogamer “I don’t know why it would be cheaper” in reference to the price of games. This honestly doesn’t surprise me at all honestly as digital games aren’t any cheaper than physical copies anyway despite obviously being cheaper to distribute. While it will be nice to be able to play on just about any screen, the idea that they were ever going to be cheaper is ridiculous to me. Besides the extra cost of creating this new format it, they want all the profit they can possibly get. While there is a free option and a $10 a month option (more details on that here ) and that will help, they obviously won’t want to cut into that else ware. Regardles, it will be interesting. Live Action Little Mermaid Eyes Melissa McCarthy for Ursula

Variety reports that as of now that Melissa McCarthy is in early talks with Disney to play the evil sea witch Ursula in the live action Little Mermaid movie. McCarthy is a highly talented tho not always loved actor that got started with comedies and really became known to me while playing Sookie St. James in The Gilmore girls. I think if she ends up in this role it will be a love hate issue for many sadly, tho for me I am good with it and hope it works out. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory/

The Office Leaving Netflix, in 2021.

Yes you read that right, Netflix is losing The Office. In January of 2021 when NBC starts it own streaming service because everyone has to have one of those now. It is one of the most popular shows on Netflix and you are quickly running out of time to watch it. It is a short year and a half away roughly after all.  Good luck finishing this one guys, I am not sure there is enough time. Detective Pikachu Gets Blu-ray Release Date

For those that want to see the movie at home, or for with kids that are going to destroy this movie for you and make you watch it a million times, you can get the digital version of Detective Pikachu on July 23rd, with the physical release being just a couple weeks later on August 6th. Amazon Prime day 2019 Announced

For those that are curious, the annual Amazon Prime Day sale that takes place every summer for site wide sales, and is basically a huge chance to save a ton of money for fans of games and movies,have been announced. It will start July 15th at 3AM ET and end July 17th at midnight. Endgame Re-release Needs Less Than $39 Million to Beat Avatar

With each passing day Endgame makes less and less money and the dream of beating Avatar slips further and further away, sort of. On June 28th a new version of Avengers Endgame will release with extra footage in hopes of making that extra money to topple the giant that is Avatar, the leading movie in film history when it comes to making bank.

Kevin Feige was pretty clear to say tho, this is NOT an extended cut. If you stick around after the movie there will be a deleted scene, some surprises and a small tribute. Wizards Unite Makes 300k in First 24 Hours

The title really says it all honestly. SensorTower research says the game pulled in around 400 thousand installs and 300 thousand dollars in the first day alone, meaning the game seems to be another success for the makers of Pokemon Go Niantic. The game itself is more or less a clone of Pokemon Go, even the Pokestops and such are the same in each game. This isn’t really a bad thing tho. Go give your fandom of choice a shot. Tom Hardy Confirmed for Venom 2

To the surprise of nobody, despite the negative reviews Venom is getting a sequel after a massive $855 million box office run, which actually makes it the most successful super hero origin story of all time at that time.It could be debated that Aquaman took that title, but that depends if on how you view that movie and personally I would count that as the king of origin movies.

With the confirmation of that sequel tho, is that it is now also confirmed Tom Hardy will be back as Venom. Even more surprising tho is Venom screenwriter said back in December that a Venom Spider-man movie wasn’t “impossible”  and Kevin Feige recently states that it would probably be up to Sony to bring the characters together. Speed Forme Deoxys and Shiny Spinda Coming to Pokemon Go

For those getting a bit bored with the EX raids lately, Starting June 23rd the Speed Forme of Deoxy. This isn’t the only new Pokemon coming up tho Starting July first Spinda will be part of the field research, and this will include the Shiny Spinda variant.  At that time Latias,Latios, Kyogre and Groudon will also be the 7 day research rewards. It will be a pretty good chance for newer people to expand their Pokedex, but for long time players the only exciting news here is possibly the Shiny and Deoxys.
