Dead Relives release date trailer

It’s fairly rare when I see a trailer for a horror game that makes me wonder what the hell is actually going on. This is a pretty good example of one. The visuals are interesting and definitely eye-catching. The trailer keeps its story close to the chest, making me pretty intrigued about what’s actually going on. I’ll be keeping an eye out for it in the future. May the gaming god’s bring you glory.

Cronos: The New Dawn gameplay overview

Lately I’ve been keeping a special eye on Cronos, which looks to satisfy my craving for survival horror games in the vane of Dead Space and Resident Evil. It was cool to get a lil bit of clarity on what the game’s going to be like firsthand. What sold me is how the monster’s will rebuild themselves off of the corpses of there own kind. I’m excited to see what Bloober Team has in store for us. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Crisol: Theater of Idols trailer

I want to take a second and talk about a game I haven’t seen much buzz about that I think deserves some. I love the vibe I got, feeling close to Lies of P and Resident Evil VIII: Village . I really liked the aesthetic and that it does look fun, which can be rare in survival horror. I’m excited to see more about this game come out. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Section 13: Online Co-op Comes to Console

If you remember my review of Section 13 PS5 Review, I mentioned that Co-op would be coming soon, and the good news is that it is now here. Check out the details below and give it a shot.

Workplace associates rejoice! Ocean Drive Studio and Kakao Games have launched the highly anticipated co-op mode for Section 13, a fiendishly ferocious twin-stick shooter.

S2P Corp recognises the importance of positive workplace relationships and wants to support this with a teambuilding exercise! Online co-op will now be available on Xbox and PlayStation, giving employees the chance to survive the horrors below together. As the saying goes, the more, the messier and there’ll be plenty to clean up when the interdimensional forces of evil have had their fun.

Step into the monstrously challenged and health-and-safety unapproved Section 13, grab your lasers, hold onto your health packs and be prepared for death. After all — apart from taxes (*please see last week’s memo on new deductions) — it’s the only certain thing in life, and you’ll get to experience it plenty of times.

If the notion of dying over and over and over does not appeal to you, please see the most recent trailer below. Corporate assures us that it will change your mind:

So grab a friend and save the world, or at least the only world that matters — your job! Enter the hazardous world of Section 13 today on XboxPlaystation and Steam and show those monsters who’s boss (it’s Corporate, but you’re a close second).

Borderlands 4 story trailer

After the lackluster story of Borderlands 3 , am I excited for 4? The game looks fun. But I gotta admit Randy Pitchford’s comments about the real Borderlands fans being willing to pay $80, like many gamers in our very harsh American economy, rightfully pissed me off. It’s going to be a long time if I even decide to pick up BL4 but from everything I’ve seen, the game basically looks like business as usual for the series. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Resident Evil 9 reveal trailer

It’s finally here! I’ve followed any news I could since Resident Evil VIII: Village, wondering where the story would go now that Ethan’s story is finished. We’re introduced to our new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, who’s wrapped up in her own mysterious story. If this is your first time seeing the trailer, I don’t want to spoil a very familiar locale, just that I freaked out as well as the title drop. RE: Requiem is dropping 2 weeks after my birthday, and this is absolutely my most anticipated of 2026. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

The Last of Us Part II

Joel and Ellie have settled down after escaping the Fireflies but all is not well after Ellie learned the truth Joel hid from her. They have a home. Ellie is beginning to thrive, even finding love, until the unthinkable happens when Joel is viscously murdered in front of her. Traumatized and enraged, Ellie ventures off to find the young woman named Abby and her crew responsible, journeying deeper into terror and bloodshed for revenge. But why was Abby out to kill Joel in the first place? Who are the Wolves and the Scars at war? How far are the two willing to go to settle their disturbing blood feud?

So controversies aside, I can understand some of the hate for the game. The Last of Us was a storytelling masterpiece. Last of Us 2 is a sequel that takes a lot of risks and goes to some truly depraved places as a revenge story. Personally, I loved most of what the game had to offer but I can understand why someone wouldn’t. The story, while way darker than the first (which really says something) balances it out with some pretty heartfelt and beautiful moments as did its predecessors. I was incredibly captivated by Ellie and Abby’s journeys. The beginning is much slower so you do have to stick around but once Ellie starts her revenge quest, the game not only opens up but you’re treated to some really tense gameplay. The infected take a back seat this time, though the new types combined with the vastly smarter enemy AI make some good horror- the Rat King towards the end genuinely scared the shit out of me and was one of my favorite horror bosses in a while. I love that the game adds some disturbingly realistic touches to the enemies so you feel dirty killing them. I appreciate the differences between Ellie’s and Abby’s weapons and passive abilities that add a bit in clinches. I do have have to say the game overall is way harder than the first and much less forgiving. I’ve gotten more frustrated on certain sections of this game than I have on a lot of Souls games and Alien: Isolation o give you an idea, so patience is a must. Also the slower pace does make the game feel much longer, even without the humongous death count, than I’m sure it really is. In the end, I love the game just as much as the first as a truly horrific revenge tale bordering into the waters of depravity as Blood Meridan but this game is absolutely not for everyone but well worth your time. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
