Live Action Sonic revealed

A few days ago we got a look at what Sonic the Hedgehog is going to look like in his live action film debut? I can’t say I’m a big Sonic fan by any real stretch but I can say I never thought of him in live action; I’m a firm believer in certain characters in certain mediums should stay animated ( ex, the Cat in the Hat, Charlie Brown, Spryo the Dragon to name a few). What do I think? He isn’t nightmare fuel thankfully but looks strange to me. I guess he looks Ok but at the same time my brain keeps telling me this shouldn’t exist. I’m oddly curious how it will look in the trailer. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Space Jam 2 Finally Gets Release Date

You , That read that right. After what feels like years of waiting and rumors, because it probably was,  Space Jam 2 will finally see the light of day and Lebron will finally be equal to Jordan and get to save the universe with the Loony Toones. That date, July 6th,2021. Now I don’t know how good this will be, but I am rather excited to see it all the same. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Sylvester Stallone To Make Super Hero Movie?

Cinemablend is reporting that Sly is interested in making and staring in his own superhero movie called Samaritan. It is reportedly attached to his production company and is about a young boy that finds a missing hero that went missing after a battle a couple decades ago, which we can probably assume would be played by Sly himself. Chris Hemsworth As Hulk Hogan

In a future that I don’t think anyone could ever have predicted, there will be a Hulk Hogan Biopic he will be played by, well Chris Hemsworth. Yes, the man that plays one of the most renowned Super Heroes of the last 20 years will now be playing one of the most renowned professional wrestlers of all time and honestly, all I could think was, who is going to play Macho Man Randy Savage? Aquaman Sequal and The Trench Spin-off

For those fans of Aquaman, and judging by the fact that it is the highest grossing DC movie of all time there are a lot of you, it will come as no surprise it is getting a sequel. It, however, is also getting a spin-off, a horror movie called The Trench. This seems like a perfect fit considering what the Trench was in the movie and what it was used for. Rottentomatoes has more details, but honestly, I am assuming The Trench will be a prequel to Aquaman considering the events of the actual movie and that it is thought none of the main characters will be in it. Ben Affleck “I’m not Batman”

For those that missed the memo, or are simply holding out hope that there is one more movie for Ben as The Bat, https://theplaylist.net/ben-affleck-not-batman-20190215/ reports that during an interview Ben flat out says word for word, “I’m not Batman.” Now, most of you reading this already knew this, but a few people out there were holding out hope, and I am sorry to dash your dreams. Superman In Shazam?

Screenrant is reporting that Henry Cavill shot a cameo for the upcoming Shazam movie, but it is questionable as to whether or not it will be used. For me this is a bit weird, I would love to see it but if Cavill is truly done as the man of steel why bother? I honestly think this is why they are questioning if they will use it or not. Monster Hunter Movie Release Date

Eurogamer is reporting that we finally have a release date for the Monster Hunter movie, September 4th next year.  This is quite the wait but I have to be honest, having over 200 hours into Monster Hunter World and not even bothering to count the others I am not really looking forward to it. The synopsis alone (which can be seen in the Eurogamer article) just doesn’t seem good to me. Happily, it is still quite the ways off so obviously this is by no means a reason to call it quits already, but I am definitely not hyped up for it. Thoughts on Ben Affleck Batman Departure

By now we have all seen the confirmation that Ben Affleck won’t be Batman anymore. If not, here is an article from cinemablend. This is a bit weird for me tho, since when he was first announced I hated the idea. The truth is I actually rather liked him as Batman and it kind of sucks he never got a true solo Batman movie. Not that I think he was the best at the job, but he was far better than I personally expected.

That being said, it did become quite obvious in Justice League he was there more out of obligation than any desire to be there which I understand, it wasn’t exactly a good movie. Avengers: Endgame Superbowl trailer

Well, Disney is continuing it’s trend after the first Avengers 4 trailer of keeping things hush hush. Pretty much we get Cap’s pre-war speech and we get to see the rest of the crew suit up for what’s sure to be a cataclysmic finale against Thanos. I’m curious why Captain Marvel hasn’t popped up yet but since I imagine she’ll be the turning point of the battle they likely wont show her til the end. I’m glad much isn’t being revealed and I’m pumped as hell. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
