I have to give a shout out to my pal Speedy for the heads up on this one. While games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Borderlands: The Pre-sequel have a lot of space and futuristic stuff in them, Boundary looks to be like a standard FPS in the dead of space. Honestly this looks really cool and I see a lot of cool opportunities this game has for some insane Z-G gun fights and some cool multiplayer matches. I’m pretty pumped for it. NHL 20 Open Beta
For those that may have missed it, the NHL 20 Open beta was this past weekend. It gave us a chance to check out the CHEL mode as well as the new NHL Ones mode. CHEL mode is still CHEL tho it has been improved. Fans of that won’t be disappointed. Threes has also made its return which made me happy. Ones tho is pretty cool, tho the name is a bit misleading. Threes is a 3v3 game so a person would thing ones is a 1v1 game. It is not, but that is a good thing.
Ones may be my favorite addition to the game because it forces you to become good at puck handling and taking advantage of your opponents’ mistakes. See you will pick one NHL star, and face off against two others in a 1v1v1 game. that’s right it’s a three-man free for all. The graphics and sound are also top notch as you would expect. All in all, if you are a hockey fan this open beta convinced me to say this one is worth buying even if you picked up NHL19 assuming you aren’t just a casual fan that plays a game here or there. If you happen to have an older version like 17 tho, now is certainly the time to get this one. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Pillars of Eternity Coming to Switch August
The title says it all. The Obsidian Entertainment Pillars of Eternity that has already been ported to every other current-gen system will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, with all of its DLC and expansions. Zombieland Double Tap
Ten years after the original we finally get the sequel so many people were begging for. The trailer is here and it does seem to look pretty great. It is a bit off to see our favorite Zombie Apocolypse child all grown up, but seeing Woody Harrelson behind the big desk in the oval office was worth it. Borderlands 3 “So Happy Together” trailer
I’m always blown away how far this game has come and how damn quick it has. There isn’t actually gameplay involved as disclaimed in the trailer but it’ll get you pumped watching the new Vault Hunters dance to this chipper tune while unleashing chaos in a way only Borderlands can. Bookbound Brigade Preview
Bookbound Brigade is a Metroidvania style game that will be releasing for PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch in quarter 4 of 2019 from Digital Tales. Digital Games is based in Milan and has offices in both Rome and Miami. The game itself is hand drawn and you won’t play as a single hero, but a party of heroes taken from history itself. They will fight and grow together in this 2D side scroller. I have included the trailer below. It looks pretty interesting, and I look forward to seeing more about it. Warframe Duviri Paradox Reveal Trailer
It is that time of year again for Warframe fans Tennocon. I personally have only casually played the game with some friends and have never watched Tennocon, but this seemed quite interesting. By interesting, I mean possibly drug-induced concept for the game. It is, however, a new open world zone that will be adding a new enemy type and ages your operators to adulthood. Daymare 1998 gameplay demo
This game was brought to my attention by my good friend Autobot when we watched a smaller version of this demo together. This game was announced about 3 years ago and here we have a damn good look at the gameplay. While the graphics are pretty nice, I can’t help but feel a huge inspiration pool from Resident Evil, perhaps a bit too much. Still, it looks like a alright horror game that has some tense atmosphere. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Alliance Alive Release Date Revealed

E3 Blair Witch trailer
Of all the horror movies to make a game out of, I can’t say I imagined Blair Witch would be the horror series to get a game of it’s own. With the exception of Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows , which I actually liked, the found footage films were never my thing. Nevertheless it looks pretty decent, like a slightly creepier version of Slender-man. In VR this could be kinda cool and I’m intrigued how it will turn out. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
