There are few times in life where I find myself truly speechless not only as a nerd but as a cognitive, sentient human being. The Tom and Jerry trailer froze made the gears of my mind come to a screeching halt. Why does this movie exist? Why are their good actors in this movie? Didn’t we learn from the Smurfs, Rocky and Bullwinkle, the Chipmunks, and the various Looney Tunes movies that perhaps people aren’t too thrilled to see classic cartoon characters mingling around in the real world? Sadly we haven’t learned. May the gaming gods bring you glory.

Halloween Kills teaser 2
I’ll be the first to say it, Halloween is pretty much dead for many, even before the pandemic of 2020. Christmas has Santa, Easter has the Bunny, well Halloween has jolly old Michael Myers. Just a small taste of the beloved icon was enough to make me smile. Next year I’m thrilled to watch the Shape return and see him return home…may the gaming gods bring you glory.
The Witches 2020 trailer
The original Witches scared the hell out many kids and I always respected the freaky transformation scenes. While I love Anne Hathaway, I couldn’t help getting a weird snooty Lady Gaga vibe to her character. While I’m not a huge fan of a CGI we see, I’m still kind of weary how this remake will turn out. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
The Craft: Legacy trailer
I’ve returned after a hard month and find that Blumhouse has struck again and has resurrected The Craft. I liked the original but admittedly, it hasn’t aged particularly well to me. The trailer looks almost like a remake meant for nowadays but I can’t say I see anything really special. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Dune Trailer
Enola Holmes trailer
Normally I’m not a Sherlock Holmes enthusiast but this movie does look entertaining. The cast is pretty good and I do like Henry Cavil as Sherlock, which sends me back to how I used to picture Sherlock. I like the concept and I think it could be a fun action comedy. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Justice League Snyder Cut teaser
As a DC fanboy, I can tell you Whedon’s cut made me sad. Here, I see hope. I like that we get way more time to develop Flash and Cyborg; I like Steppenwolf’s updated design and the first appearance of Darkseid. I like Batman being more serious and the first look at Superman in the black suit. I hope there really is a glimpse of Lantern somewhere. I can’t wait to see it, despite the long ass runtime. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Black Adam first look trailer
Black Adam is one of my favorite DC anti-heroes/ villains. I was skeptical of Dwayne Johnson as Adam but his narration is pretty badass and feels natural. I love the comic book styling and the intro of the JSA at the end, which opens up a whole new avenue of characters into the DC universe. I can’t wait for a true trailer. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
The Suicide Squad teaser trailer
So during the onslaught of DC trailers, we did get to see the roster for the new Suicide Squad movie. These are not really the A or B list characters like the first movie, but like the C and D list for the most part. While certainly a interesting roster, I’m curious what the finished product will look like, and hopefully it comes together good. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Wonder Woman: 1984 trailer 2
I was afraid of this…The latest Wonder Woman trailer has a lot to offer but Cheetah immediately makes me think of a Cats 2019 extra gone rabid. I like Barbara’s fight against Diana but something about the effects seem more over the top than the first. While it’s a good trailer, I can’t help but be a little worried. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
