A Hidden Life Trailer

A Hidden Life is another movie coming out that is based on a true story. This one about a man that refused to be a Nazi. A literal Nazi by the way, in Germany during World War 2 this isn’t a metaphor or anything like that. He is taken from his family, tortured and beaten and refuses to do what he sees as wrong. The trailer seems cool, tho it won’t be a movie for everyone. I look forward to it hitting Netflix or Hulu personally. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Endgame Writer Explains Why There Was No Thanos/Hulk Rematch

ScreenRant recently talked about how co-writer of Avengers Endgame Stephen McFeely finally answered the question of why we never got to see that Hulk vs Thanos rematch many of us looked forward to. As one of the people that was initially annoyed by this I have to admit, it makes a lot of sense. The general idea is simple. After the snap, he learned to be more one with the Hulk and became Smart Hulk as the MCU calls him. Because of this, it was no longer a driving force for him to fight Thanos or anyone else.

That is it, that is why we never got our rematch. Because Smart Hulk had no desire to fight him again. Now while this does make sense, I will admit I still would have enjoyed seeing this. Going forward tho smart hulk can be quite fun to watch. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

The Rock, Vin Diesel and Jason Statham Can’t lose fights

Yes, you read that right, according to Screenrant all three have contract stipulations that forbid them from losing fights, and even have a clause that dictates how many times they can be punched in a movie. This isn’t really all that odd tho, the internet is full of examples of stars having things, both odd and not so odd in their contracts. It does seem a bit odd tho, and maybe even egotistical to have such a thing written in there tho. To each their own tho. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Zombieland Double Tap

Ten years after the original we finally get the sequel so many people were begging for. The trailer is here and it does seem to look pretty great. It is a bit off to see our favorite Zombie Apocolypse child all grown up, but seeing Woody Harrelson behind the big desk in the oval office was worth it. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

My 5 Wives (2001)

My 5 Wives is a 2001 comedy starring the late and great Rodney Dangerfield. The plot of the story is simple, in Nevada, there is a community where polygamy is still allowed. This is having multiple wives. (Yes this is a real thing) A friend of his tells him about some and up for auction that would be great for a ski resort. Being the super-rich businessman that he is going through his third divorce he goes to check it out and drops a few bucks to buy it. It isn’t until after he learns he must join the church in order to buy the land. With this comes the three wives of the former owner.

So while his sex life gets kicked up to a level he has never before experienced he donates money to the community, starts making plans for the ski lodge and runs into trouble with the local bank manager that wanted the land for himself. This bank manager will stop at nothing to get him excommunicated so he can have the land for himself. Not long into the movie, Rodney will marry one of his wife’s sister and her friend after their husband dies. They need a place to stay and this is the only way to make it happen.

While all this sounds like the male fantasy, and at the start is portrayed as such we quickly see why there are drawbacks and the ladies quickly see there are other ways to live their lives. While a comedy and a decently funny one if you are a fan of Rodney Dangerfields unique style the movie does a decent job of telling an actual story and by the end of the movie the ladies come into their own fairly well. The movie wasn’t a huge hit with critics and truthfully I can see why. This is one of those like it or hate it movies, and I can’t imagine anyone loving it. I enjoyed it for what it was but I am a fan of Mr. Dangerfield. If you aren’t however you may be better of skipping this one. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Vin Diesel Confirms Riddick 4: Furya Script is Complete

Almost 20 years ago we saw the breakout role of Vin Diesel titled Pitch Black. The movie was about a criminal named Riddick that could see in the dark and was one of the more feared people in existence. There have been occasional movies in the series ever since and recently Vin Diesel took to Instagram with a video showing us the completed scripted for the fourth installment titled Furya. Little else is known about the movie but judging by the name it seems we will learn more about Riddick’s homeworld and learn more about his past. Hopefully we will have more details soon. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

When Thor 4 Confirmed to be in MCU Timeline

As reported by cinemablend as many people have been wondering ever since Thor Love and Thunder was announced, where the hell could this movie take place in the MCU timeline? With Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and Thor leaving with them where does Thor 4 take place? Well, writer James Gunn ended that discussion with one word. “Before” So that settles it, Thor Love and  Thunder takes place before Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Now it is just a matter of waiting for their inevitable release. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Revenge of the Nerds 2: Nerds in Paradise

Revenge of the Nerds 2 takes place the following year after the Tri Lambs have taken over the Greek counsel in Revenge of the Nerds (1984). This time they have gone to the National Fraternity Conference in Florida. Nothing like a beautiful time with beautiful women right? That at least was their hopes on the way down there.

With all these fraternities there the Alphas are of course back, and they don’t want the nerds in their hotel. The manager is also a former member of Alpha house and of course, gives them the boot. Not to be deterred they find a new hotel, one that has all the amenities you would expect from a hotel in sunny Fort Lauderdale Flordia.

That is what the ad claimed anyway. They show up to a body being stretchered out, the pool is brown and has something living in it and a chalk outline drawn in their room, separate from where the body was wheeled out from. This is all before they are set up to be kicked out of the conference and an attempt at having their charter revoked. I won’t spoil all those details for you, but the movie is quite a bit different from the last one and has had plenty of hits with reviewers but fans seem to enjoy it, at least I did.

The movie is funny and over the top at times, and I mean that in a positive way and in true 80s fashion there is some nudity for the male fans to enjoy. By all means jump on Hulu and check these classics out, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
