November Free PS4 Games

The PlayStation 4 Free games have finally been revealed. The first is worms battleground.

I haven’t played this one, but the older games were fun and simplistic. Simply move your worms use some odd but fun weapons to kill the enemy worms. I am looking forward to trying this one.

Next up is bound. Honestly I know nothing about this but graphically it looks interesting.

Square Enix News

There has been some interesting things from Square Enix in the last 24 hours, some of the highlights are for example..well have a picture.

Yup that is a picture of Final Fantasy 9. And as of today you can buy it on PlayStation 4. Yea no lead up, no announcement nothing. Its on sale for just under $17 but soon enough will return soon enough to the very awkward and weird price of $20.99.

Other news in the realm of who the hell would want that, but it is an option. Final fantasy..well wine.

Other news released is that Noctis will be joining the fighters of Final Fantasy Dissidia which should be interesting to see him and Cloud or Squall go at it.

Demon Gaze 2

Demon Game is set to release this Fall for the PS4 and PS Vita. From the company that brought us the Disgaea this dungeon crawler.

The world is Asteria, and it is at the mercy of Magnastar and it is up to the Revolutionist Party to overthrow him. You play as the Demon Gazer and with the powers of demons you must lead the revolution to save the place.

The dungeons seem to be done in a grid based style with a first person turn based battle system. From the creators of Disgaea I am expecting a great story and some good laughs. Hopfully we find out this Fall, and while we wait may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Bethesda,game of thrones?

A long time ago Bethesda was approached about making a Game of Thrones open world RPG, which they chose to make Skyrim instead. Now all this time later target may have leaked a new Bethesda game. A page on the site being reported by Forbes and other places that retailer Target has. A page simply titled Bethesda Game of thrones. Whether or not this is a mistake or intentional or even real remains to be seen but I for one would love to play it. Have a good night and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

After years without a major console release Atari seems to be making a come back with what is called the Ataribox. Not a ton is know about it tho more info can be found below.

Honestly, if this ever actually releases I will be surprised. I hope i’m wrong, but despite that it would be fun to see a hybrid retro console with some newer things along with it. I won’t pretend to know how this turns out, but it would be nice to have a 4th console choice.

Elite Dangerous PS4 review

After years of waiting, Frontier finally brings Elite Dangerous to the PlayStation 4. Graphically it looks superior to the Xbox one version but not as good as the PC version making it visually the middle of the road. That being said none of them look bad. There are a few glitches in the game sadly, in both open and solo play I experienced some rubber banding where I would  move and be ripped back and eventually shoot forward, once it even destroyed my ship. That is few are far between, after probably 10 hours I’ve seen it twice. The sound is pretty much top tier a well with no noticeable issues.

For better or worse, and this will depend on the person playing, the game simply does not care about you. the tutorials are out of game (if you played the xbox version the controls line up perfectly between systems) and if you skip them the game basically explains very little. Outside of one optional mission the game gives you there i no real guidance on what you should be doing. The galaxy is a very large place, and the game does not make you feel as anything more than 1 pilot among the stars. If you are a fan of space or simulation games you should check it out, and if you are a fan of both you owe it to yourself to play it. Sega Forever

Some times something is announced that both excites me and confuses me. This is one of those things.

Sega forever is, for all intents and purposes, games made by Sega free for your cell phone and tablet. With a few games already out including Phantasy Star 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog more will be added periodically until every Sega system is represented. I know some of you are going to be wondering, how does Sega make money on this? Well there will be adds when you start the games up but for a small fee ( $1.99 i believe) you can remove the adds from a game. As of now i have not gotten the chance to play any of them but as we speak Phantasy Star 2 is downloading on my cell phone, look for my review this weekend or early next week. Snes classic

Nintendo has officially confirmed the Super Nintendo Classic is a thing to be launched this year and will include the never released Star Fox 2. More info can be found here.

Lets just hope this isn’t as limited as the NES classic, something many of my friends want but only I seem to have. The 30 games are nice and the system and all its parts work just as well as you would hope and i expect nothing less from the SNES Classic.
