Dog Duty (Preview)

Rotterdam, the Netherlands – February 12, 2020 – The Real Time Tactics game Dog Duty is coming to Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Steam® in the spring of 2020. The fast-paced game is currently in Early Access on Steam and is being developed by indie developer Zanardi & Liza. Co-developer SOEDESCO Studios is also involved in the development of Dog Duty and is mainly focusing on the console version of the game. The action-packed title offers players epic gunfights and a healthy dose of humor as they try to defeat the evil octopus army.

With Dog Duty in its final development stages in Early Access on Steam, Leonardo Zimbres, founder of development studio Zanardi & Liza, is excited to see the game come to Nintendo Switch, PS4™ and Xbox One. “It’s great to work together with SOEDESCO Studios on the development of Dog Duty and to see them bring the game to other platforms. I’m confident in their skills, as they’ve made great progress so far. The console version looks and plays well and I can’t wait for the release.”

During its Early Access period on Steam, Dog Duty has already received several huge updates. With feedback from the community, Zanardi & Liza worked hard on further improving the game. They have added new playable characters and enemies. Players can now assemble a squad of 3 out of 8 playable characters. Zanardi & Liza have also completely revamped the UI, adding more dialogues and encounters with both friendly and enemy NPCs. Via a whole new radio deploy system, players can engage with conquered and enemy outposts. For example, players now receive taunting messages from outposts that have not been conquered yet. The Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One version will also be released with these updates.

Name The Monster

NAME THE DREADLANDS MONSTER

An epic monster deserves an epic name

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, February 12, 2020. Fatshark and Blackfox Studios are in need of a creative soul that will help us give our unnamed monster a name that a gruesome monster deserves.

We are looking for a name, and you can be the Senior Monster Name Specialist at Blackfox Studios. The position is only open for one unnamed monster which so far is unknown to the masses.

The brief is simple, send us your best ideas for a name that people in the Dreadlands can include in their stories and tall tales, like when they faced this monstrous beast head-on bare knuckles and all and survived to tell the tale. Of course, that’s just the Dreadlands version of the fish story; no mortal man would survive a fist fight with “new name here”!

The best name submitted will be included in the game, and will forever be the name of this deadly beast in Dreadlands. Who knows, you could be the lucky person who names the monster, and get your name in the credits (hey, now you’re a game developer!).

Here’s where to send all your best name ideas www.playdreadlands.com/name-the-monster

No joke, click the link and name the monster pictured. There is a prize for the winning name. Good luck my friends, may the gaming gods smile upon you.

Liberated, 9 Minutes of Gameplay

Liberated, one of the most exciting Polish video games of the first half of the year, is a groundbreaking, award winning, new vision of the future of digital comics. Panel by panel, you’ll switch between action, stealth, puzzles, and an engaging comic book story with compelling player-led choices. Liberated is coming first to Nintendo Switch in 2020, shortly followed by PC on GOG and Steam.

Liberated is set in a near-future, tech-noir society slipping into the throes of authoritarianism. Powered by corporations and enabled by new technology, join the fight against state-driven misinformation. As government surveillance and weaponised personal data have painted the world in shades of grey, knowing where to draw the line between revolution and terrorism has never been more paramount.

Publisher Walkabout Games have released nine minutes of brand new direct feed gameplay of the game. In this footage, you’ll see the main character Barry Edwards being taken to the headquarters of the mysterious insurgent group “Liberated” after being intercepted by one of its members. The video shows off the seamless transitions between storytelling and gameplay, as told through Barry’s first infiltration mission, including some precision shooting and an exciting driving segment.

The game itself seems pretty exciting, and I must admit it looks quite unique as well. Check out the gameplay below and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Mosaic Out Now on PS4

Mosaic (Console release date) is an odd game, one I have talked about before. The entire purpose of the game seems to be to just make you bored out of your damn mind with the mundane task of your life so that you simply refuse to do them and go off and do whatever you want to avoid doing them and by doing so, bring some color and fun into the world itself. This is one of those games I am curious about because it seems like a silly idea, but just silly enough to work. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Resident Evil Resistance New Masterminds and Maps Announced

Today Capcom announced two additional Masterminds joining the roster for Resident Evil Resistance, the upcoming 4 versus 1 asymmetrical survival horror experience included with Resident Evil 3. Infamous Resident Evil villains, Alex Wesker and Ozwell Spencer, each bring a unique brand of terror to the game and a set of special abilities to thwart the Survivors trying to escape Umbrella Corporation’s devious experiments. This duo rounds out Umbrella’s team of Masterminds in Resident Evil Resistance, alongside the previously announced newcomer Daniel Fabron and the notorious Annette Birkin.

Fans who recognize Alex Wesker from Resident Evil Revelations 2 might remember she employs a more indirect means to achieve her goals. As a villain who enjoys putting her subjects through psychological horrors and experiments, she makes the perfect Mastermind. Alex’s play style puts an emphasis on using traps, while also manipulating the map to slow Survivors down with roadblocks and enhanced zombies. As if these were not intimidating enough, when Alex gets really serious, she can call upon a vicious carnivorous plant called Yateveo. This stationary bioweapon might not move, but in the right place it’s a powerful obstruction that keeps Survivors from their objective of escaping.

Ozwell E. Spencer has been a shadowy antagonist in the Resident Evil series, letting others do his dirty work. As the fourth Mastermind of Resident Evil Resistance, Ozwell is now taking a more hands-on approach. Enjoying his position as one of Umbrella Corporation’s founders, Ozwell uses the company’s cutting edge technology to torment Survivors. Unlike other Masterminds who summon controllable bioweapons (like Alex Wesker’s Yateveo, Annette Birkin’s G-Birkin and Daniel Fabron’s Tyrant), Ozwell instead generates a Disintegration Field that severely damages any Survivor who haplessly passes through it.

In addition to revealing new Masterminds, Capcom also shared new artwork showcasing two new maps where Masterminds and Survivors will try to outwit each other:

  • Casino: An entertainment facility for thrill seekers… and insidious Masterminds. Its still-operating slot machines and chips strewn across the floor tell the eerie tale of how hastily it was deserted during the collapse of Raccoon City.
  • Abandoned Park: A horror-themed park located on the outskirts of Raccoon City. It too was left abandoned when zombies and bioweapons overran Raccoon City. Now, monsters both real and imagined now patiently await visitors.

In Resident Evil Resistanceone Mastermind plots a deadly course by wielding a strategic deck of cards to create dangerous obstacles to prevent a group of Survivors from escaping – such as summoning vicious creatures, setting traps, manipulating the environment, and weaponizing security cameras. In turn, Survivors must work together using their own special abilities and items they come across to thwart the Mastermind, and escape the experiment before time runs out.
Resident Evil Resistance will be included with Resident Evil 3 on April 3, 2020 for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, and Steam. Visit https://www.residentevil.com/3 for more information.

This, of course, is copied directly from their press release to me as I didn’t want to mistake any of the info, and I will put some of my favorite pics at the bottom. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Helping A Friend With Cancer

I know this goes greatly against what I normally post but over the summer my girlfriend dragged me to one of those genders reveal parties. Now that is far from being my thing but I went for her and my daughter and while there I met Raeanne. Sweet girl and her mom was even sweeter. Both made me feel right at home. Her dad took a minute to introduce himself to me and my daughter and brought her a drink, which he was under no obligation to do but that stuck out to me. He just seemed like an overall good guy. Now he is a grandfather and because of his time in the service is suffering from cancer and the family needs some help with medical bills and such. I am hoping you guys can help me spread the word, or maybe toss them a couple bucks if you have the means. Whatever you can do is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, and my the gaming gods bring you glory. (I have included a link and copied some of the text below)

My father is a Vietnam Veteran, a good man, and a friend to all. He never hesitates when it comes to being there for friends, family, and even people he just met. He truly has a heart of gold.

My father was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer that was most certainly caused by the Agent Orange that was used during his tours of Vietnam. He is due to start chemotherapy at the end of February and the medical bills are already adding up steadily. My father is a fighter, he always has been, but even the strongest people need support sometimes. Any help is appreciated, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

*ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO MY FATHER TO HELP HIM PAY FOR HIS TREATMENTS AND OTHER MEDICAL EXPENSES THAT GO HAND IN HAND WITH CANCER TREATMENT.

Donut County (PS4)

Donut County is an odd game. It is the story of a racooon and his donut shop. And when some orders a donut from his shop they get, well a literal hole. You control this hole.

The hole starts rather small, and as you small small objects like rocks or small lizards the hole gets bigger. As it gets bigger you can swallow up bigger objects and eventually buildings.

There is actually a story about how Racoon just wants to score points to get a quadcoptet and how there is a king racoon that wants there to be more garbage and such, as always I won’t spoil it.

The game controls well and while it isn’t at all hard it is entertaining. And for you trophy hunters you can get a platinum in about 3 hours. The game is also pretty cheap so I see no reason why you shouldn’t give it a go. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have PLENTY of City to Burn With Around 75 ‘Street Story’ Side Quest — PlayStation when you need it.

One of the best things about The Witcher III was CD Projekt Red’s dedication to its side quest. They dedicated time and resources to make your time with the game seem even more meaningful. Good news, Samurai! They’re doing the same with Cyberpunk 2077 and taking it even further. In an interview with OnMSFT, CD…

DragonBall FighterZ

DragonBall FighterZ is the DBZ fighting game people wanted for years and never truly got. This beautiful 2D fighter quickly became loved by people that grew tired of Marvel vs Capcom or simply love fighting games and wanted something new to sink their teeth into. The graphics are beautiful and the sounds are outstanding. The character selection starting out was nice and has been expanded nicely since launch.

There is also no shortage of things to do in the game itself with online and offline fighting modes, things to collect and even modes to simply watch. There is not a lot to say here, if you are a DBZ fan or a fan of fighting games, it is worth picking up. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
