Nic Cage says he would be a great Lex Luthor
Most people don’t know that, or maybe they do, that at one point Nicolas Cage was supposed to play Superman. If you want the fully story on all this check out Screen rant. What is also interesting is when asked about playing Superman Cage openly admits that those days are gone, but he believes he would make a great Lux Luthor. Aquaman trailer 2
We got a treat yesterday in the form of a huge Aquaman trailer that gives us a huge look at movie in general. First I have to say visually it looks improved from Aquaman trailer 1 and the Atlantis stuff looks absolutely stunning. Jason Mamoa is charismatic as always and I can’t lie, he pulls off the classic outfit at the end of the trailer; Amber Heard seems natural as Mera and I was glad to see her use her power. I was glad to see Manta in action but I am really liking Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master. I’m really digging how it’s shaping up. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Zombieland 2
After many years of rumors and such Comicbook.com and many others have been reporting that zombieland 2 is set to release a year from now in October of 2019, 10 years after the original. The stars had to align to make this happen with. Getting the original cast together was hard, and they pretty much demanded a high quality script. Wegotthiscovered.com also reports that we have been promised a cameo that will rival that of the Bill Fucking Murray came from the first, but we will have to wait to see. Venom Gets 40 Minutes Cut
According to movieweb.com there is a ton of Venom that you won’t be seeing in theaters. About 40 minutes to be exact. Tom Hardy also said some of his favorite scenes also did not make it into the movie which really makes me wonder what did make it into the movie. A lot of people are bit nervous about this one with it being a Spider Man spin-off with no spidey and being separate from the MCU. Tho this does make a potential directors cut or deleted scenes extra on the Blu-ray pretty interesting. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers
Expected to arrive in October of 2019, the movie of Mr. Rogers starring Tom Hanks and this is the first look. I won’t lie, as I was scrolling around and saw this I actually thought it was just an old picture of the man himself. Granted it isn’t perfect but just scrolling though it’s a close match. Huntress and Black Canary casted…
Recently we’ve been getting a lot of news on DC’s upcoming Birds of Prey movie in the DCEU. Margot Robbie is returning as Harley Quinn and as of a couple of days we got a confirmation on casting for Huntress and Black Canary. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be playing The Huntress and Jurnee Smollet- Bell will be playing Black Canary. I’m not familiar with Smollet- Bell’s work but physically I think she can pull the character off. Winstead I’m on the fence about; I’ve seen her in movies that weren’t great but she always tried her best- with the DCEU’s track record, I don’t want this to be one of those movies. The castings are certainly interesting and I’m curious to see where it goes. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
DC Birds of Prey Release Date
DC has tons of movies going on, seriously a ton. Aquaman,Wonder woman, another Joker movie the works. Now Birds Of Prey, which will at least see Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Child’s Play Creator Less Than Happy With New Chucky
Recently the Child’s Play Reboot started filming. and creator Don Mancini doesn’t seem to happy. You can see his Twitter post by clicking the link. He isn’t the only one tho. The rumored new plot also seems quite odd. The origin story itself has been completely wiped and been replaced with a guy killing himself after reprogramming it. The odd part of this is the original line of movies will still be going on with Don. See one studio, MGM, holds the rights to the original movie. Universal owns the rights to the sequel. This is how the Reboot can happen while the sequel can keep going.
Personally I am not looking forward to the reboot, but the sequels haven’t exactly been great recently either. We shall see tho, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Space Jam 2
Unfortunately for many the joke that Jordan is better than Lebron because Lebron never helped the Looney Tunes save the world is about to end. The long since rumored Space James 2 is no longer a rumor, but is a fact. According to Hollywood Reporter James and Ryan Coogler (director of Black Panther) will be setting out to make the world a better place, through basketball.
