We got a treat yesterday in the form of a huge Aquaman trailer that gives us a huge look at movie in general. First I have to say visually it looks improved from Aquaman trailer 1 and the Atlantis stuff looks absolutely stunning. Jason Mamoa is charismatic as always and I can’t lie, he pulls off the classic outfit at the end of the trailer; Amber Heard seems natural as Mera and I was glad to see her use her power. I was glad to see Manta in action but I am really liking Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master. I’m really digging how it’s shaping up. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
After many years of rumors and such Comicbook.com and many others have been reporting that zombieland 2 is set to release a year from now in October of 2019, 10 years after the original. The stars had to align to make this happen with. Getting the original cast together was hard, and they pretty much demanded a high quality script. Wegotthiscovered.com also reports that we have been promised a cameo that will rival that of the Bill Fucking Murray came from the first, but we will have to wait to see. According to movieweb.com there is a ton of Venom that you won’t be seeing in theaters. About 40 minutes to be exact. Tom Hardy also said some of his favorite scenes also did not make it into the movie which really makes me wonder what did make it into the movie. A lot of people are bit nervous about this one with it being a Spider Man spin-off with no spidey and being separate from the MCU. Expected to arrive in October of 2019, the movie of Mr. Rogers starring Tom Hanks and this is the first look. I won’t lie, as I was scrolling around and saw this I actually thought it was just an old picture of the man himself. Granted it isn’t perfect but just scrolling though it’s a close match. Recently we’ve been getting a lot of news on DC’s upcoming Birds of Prey movie in the DCEU. Margot Robbie is returning as Harley Quinn and as of a couple of days we got a confirmation on casting for Huntress and Black Canary. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be playing The Huntress and Jurnee Smollet- Bell will be playing Black Canary. I’m not familiar with Smollet- Bell’s work but physically I think she can pull the character off. Winstead I’m on the fence about; I’ve seen her in movies that weren’t great but she always tried her best- with the DCEU’s track record, I don’t want this to be one of those movies. The castings are certainly interesting and I’m curious to see where it goes. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
