Red Dead Redemption 2

download (1)

Here we are, after all these years and all this talk. We knew it was coming, but finally we can say Red Dead Redemption 2 has a release date (October 26th 2018) and a whole bunch of info. Hold onto your hates cowboys and cow-ladies (is that a word?) we are in for a ride.

First as is already know, this game is a prequel to the first game and John Marston will be making some sort of appearance in the game as both him and the main character Arthur Morgan are members of the Van der Linde gang.

Hunting is also reportedly making its way back as you would expect, but this time around it is more detailed. The amount of damage will change the amount of money you get for the skins and bringing the animal back whole will also bring more money and it will also decay overtime, also making a difference.

Walking around with your guns drawn will also change how people react towards you, talking to people with your guns our for example won’t go over well as you can imagine. Horses now have a system of trust, the longer you have it and the better you treat it the further away it will hear you whistle and act better in a gun fun, but if it dies it is gone forever. You will also have to start the system all over again if you get a new horse.

You can see more details here along with other links to videos and such here if you are interested, for now best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you greatness.

Brooklyn 99 Cancelled, Then Not Cancelled

brooklyn 99

This week we were hit with some terrible news. Fox has cancelled the beloved cop comedy show Brooklyn 99, may it rest in peace. Twitter went nuts flaming fox and begging Netflix to be the hero we needed and save the show. Around 24 hours later however NBC picked the show up for another season. With support from the likes of Mark Hamill and Sean Astin whom Terry Crews thanked personally more on that here you can see while maybe not a no brainer for NBC, it wasn’t exactly a risky choice. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Rambo 5?

download (2)

No, this isn’t a weird click bate article or even a joke. According to screenrant.com and other sources, while unconfirmed (or maybe confirmed by the time you read this) Rambo 5 is actually in the works with Stallone himself looking to both star in and direct the 5th installment of the series. While the last couple did underwhelming in the box office it could be interesting to see if an older John Rambo would be portrayed as an older man attempting to help a younger man accomplish some impossible mission, or if we simply get an old man gunning down people in a jungle. Either way we will have to wait to see if anything happens, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Xbox E3 Plans, For Now.

download

This week we heard a bit from Phil Spencer of and Microsoft plans for E3. He pointed out things do change of course, but for now he said we should be seeing some support for Japanese developers. This would be a nice thing to see as a JRPG fan as they have mostly been missing for the Xbox One. While we have all heard the joke about where are the Xbox games, mostly because of the lack of exclusives. Now we all know the jokes are mostly just that, jokes. However like most jokes there is a bit of truth to them, and this year at E3 Microsoft seems to be taking it a bit more seriously. For more info you can read here.  Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

A very Sonic Game Gear Mystery

images (1).jpg

According to gamerant some how in the first quarter of 2018, more specifically March, someone bought a brand new copy of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Sega Game Gear. Now honestly I don’t know if its a mistake or how a game that’s over 20 years old on a console that has long since been discontinued sells a new copy of a game but hey, its still hilarious. Enjoy the mystery my friends, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

H1Z1 Hits PlayStation in May

download (1)

As many of you may already know  the free battle royale game H1Z1 hits PS4 next month to the mixed reaction of many. For more specifics on the changes and a video you can look here but we are going to focus on how many people feel. Seeing as how H1Z1 was popular well before Pubg and Fortnight many would think people would be happy to see this getting a jump to console. After all, new players might revitalize the community. The issue is most PC player seem to have lost faith in Daybreak Games to deliver a solid experience to the console after years of let downs on computer. I for one remain skeptical because of how long it took for this to happen at all, but next month will be interesting. Best wishes, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
