It’s no surprise the latest Assassin’s Creed to drop looks like it’s shaping up to be the best we’ve seen in ages. I love the combat changes and the graphics look stunning but I can’t help but wish it wasn’t an Assassin’s Creed game but a whole new IP instead. I’m wishing for the best and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Watch Dogs: Legion cinematic trailer
I like the cyberpunk vision they are going for and the narration is a nice touch even though I’m getting bored of dystopia. The break neck pacing was jarring but some of the action scenes are cool. I think the gameplay trailer was better than the cinematic, but this conveys a message that it’s here. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Watch Dogs: Legion gameplay overview
I’ve never been into the Watch Dogs series, even though many people have told me 2 was a huge step in the right direction. Legion looks like a blast and I like the inspiration taken from Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and the loads of different ways to play the game out. Legion very well might be where I start the series. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Far Cry 6 opening cinematic reveal
Am I the only one who saw this and got a weird James Bond vibe from this intro? Either way, the imagery really brings me back to the classic games which is nice. I hope to get some exotic wildlife in 6, which was a huge issue I had in 5. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Far Cry 6 reveal trailer
I love the dialogue in this video and I hope the graphics stay as nice as the trailer. Our main villain seems a lot more somber than our last few main Far Cry antagonists which is a nice change and I like the dark set up. I’m curious to see more for sure. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker PC Review (Steam Early Access)
Once again it’s that time for me to say thanks to Focus Home Interactive for hooking me up with a review code to review excellent work.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to drift through space and just dismantle ships for salvage? To use the proper tool for the proper job and just slice through metal and rip off an antenna or power supply and wrangle it through space into the proper spot so it can be repurposed? Yea honestly I never wondered that either, but that is exactly what this game is. And you will have to do all that before you run out of oxygen. ( Unless you use the in-game option to shut that off.
Now hear me out, this does sound boring as hell, but do you know what else does? Farming Simulator, The Sims, and basically any racing game. All of which are pretty fun and this is no exception. Once you get used to the controls and the fact that just because you let go of the controls to move doesn’t mean you will stop moving, because that is how space works. The game is actually almost like a puzzle game, what’s the best way to dismantle everything and the most efficient way to do it? Of course, as your career goes on you will be able to dismantle bigger ships. The 15-minute time limit can be frustrating so you may want to shut it off as I mentioned earlier, but that is also part of the challenge.
The graphics and sound to this game I found to be amazing even on the average laptop that I use for gaming. It is by no means some sort of impressive juggernaut of gaming, as I am mostly a filthy console gamer that dabbles on my laptop mostly for the paradox grand strategy games. It just all fit nicely and actually had one of the best into music I have heard in recent gaming.
Unlike most games I review for a company I won’t give this a permanent score because I don’t want someone to see it in a month and say well damn it only gave it this, it is way better now or I can’t believe he gave that crap such a high score. This game is in early access and will be changing. This does feel like a game getting into early on tho because it could be exciting to see how this one grows, and I can’t stress this, for now, the score, FOR NOW, is 8/10 and we will certainly revisit this in a few months. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Shallow Grave

We begin with 3 friends living together in Britain, Alex, David, and Juliette who are looking for a new roommate. After a long train of screwing with there new potential roommates at there expense, they find a solid candidate with cash and no questions asked. After not hearing from him for a bit, they bust into his room, finding him dead and naked in bed. While looking for answers, they find a suitcase full of money and they find themselves going down a series of dark paths leading into insanity all in the name of money, finding out you never know who your friends truly are…
28 Days Later is one my favorite movies of all time so I really excited to see this after finding out Danny Boyle directed it. After watching it, I’m not sure how I would define it, skillfully blending elements of suspense, dark comedy, soft horror, and a intriguing twist filled plot. The acting is fantastic on top of some beautiful cinematography and score. This movie did keep me on the edge of my seat and I have to admit, I wasn’t sure where certain characters would end up and I like how the plot keeps moving until the very end. The actors have great chemistry and work great together. I loved the movie and it was a great start to sink into the works of a great director. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Sisters Royale Xbox One Released July 10th
Many of you may remember the game Castle of Shikigai (Mobile Light Force 2 in Europe and the US) from back around 2001, a series that sort of just disappeared despite many wanting a sequel. Well, this isn’t quite it. This is more of a spiritual successor from Chorus Worldwide and Alfa System. It released back in January for PS4 and Nintendo Switch but Xbox had to wait a little longer, but as of July 10th that wait is over.
Sisters Royale: Five Sisters Under Fire has a nice anime look and feel to it as you try to win the heart of an angel named Yashin. The five sisters fight in a sort of bullet storm hell where you will be rewarded for taking a greater risk with a tension bonus system that will multiply your score. I haven’t played it myself but looking at the trailer it looks quite interesting for fans of the genre. Check it out below and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Crosscode PS4 Review
A few things I want to get out of the way before I begin. First as always, a huge thank you to the people over at Deck13 interactive and everyone involved in this game for tossing me this review copy. It was a magnificent throwback to the 16-bit era. And if you are one of those collectors that love the hard copy of things, they have you covered here at https://crosscode.inin.games/ where you can get it on PS4 or Nintendo Switch from a base version all the way up to collectors editions that are individually numbered. ( Also, I do NOT get any sort of kickback for mentioning that, they just asked me to include it and since I enjoyed the game I was happy to oblige) The last thing I wanted to say is that I do apologize for this review being later than they usually are. Like many, COVID has slowed some things up and caused some issues.
Now on to the review itself. Graphically, if you are looking for a AAA title with flashy graphics that will push the bar higher, this game isn’t made for you. They clearly made this game for those people that love the good old days of 16-bit era RPGs like Secret of Mana or the newer Cosmic Star Heroine, except what many of you won’t know is this game came out a bit before Cosmic Star. About two years in fact. I would put the two games in the same class in terms of quality tho.

The battle system is also pretty standard for the genre. You will walk around, run into enemies, and instead of entering a new scene for a battle you will stay and fight in that field in a fast-paced yet strategic way. You will have attacks from a distance or up close. It doesn’t do anything to reinvent the wheel, but it turns just fine.
The story is pretty unique, that isn’t always a compliment. I don’t have an issue with it, but I wasn’t entirely fond of it. The game starts with what is basically an interactive cut scene but it isn’t much explained until later. You then will play as Lea, a typical mute girl most old RPGs have, tho this game explains why she is mute. That is actually much appreciated. It will be explained that you are actually just more or less an avatar in an MMORPG called CrossWorlds. I won’t go much more into the story than that because I don’t want to spoil anything because while for me I didn’t enjoy I do think that was a personal preference. Others that I have talked to enjoyed it and thought I was insane.
Now the reason you are all here, do I recommend this game? Sure, the price is more than fair, and if you need something to scratch that nostalgia itch this will do more than that. I may even add it to my Nintendo Switch collection so I have an old school RPG in the go. 7/10, would absolutely buy this myself. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
5 Characters I want to see in the MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has gone above and beyond expectations and not only brought us iconic representations of legends like Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor but also lesser known characters like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Dr Strange, and and Ant-man. With the anticipation growing over Deadpool, the X-men, and Fantastic Four joining the MCU due to the Fox merger with Disney, there is still some characters I can’t wait to see. In no particular order, I’ll start with a pick that many want to forget but are close to my heart…
1. The Inhumans-
Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Triton, Gorgon, Karnak, and Lockjaw play a huge role in the Marvel universe as the first family of Attilan. While ABC failed miserably to give us a show, the Inhumans were originally slotted for a MCU spot. Set in a strange land of strange characters with incredible powers, I’d love to see the royal family join the legion of heroes as well as having Maximus become a formidable foe for our heroes to face.
2. Ms. Marvel-
While Carol Danvers, the original Ms Marvel, is more famous as Captain Marvell, Kamala Khan is a cool replacement. Being a teenage Muslim girl turned superhero after being exposed to the Inhuman creating Terrigan Mist, her origin brings a lot of opportunity for diversity and lore building. With the ability to change shape, density, and stretch to marvelous lengths (yes, I went there) her powers are a good mix amongst those around her.
3. Namor aka the Submariner –
Namor may perhaps be the original comic book anti-hero. The hot headed half Atlantean, half mutant prince of Atlantis has been a hero as well as a villain as the rumor of his first appearance in the MCU being the villain of Black Panther 2. His mutant lineage opens the door for X men and his romantic attachment to Invisible Woman makes him a great F4 side character but he also has plenty of ties to the Avengers, Dr Doom, Dr Strange and the Illuminati.
4. Silver Surfer-
I love the cosmic side of Marvel and with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvell prominent in the MCU, it would be a great time to introduce the powerful herald of Galactus. Surfer can travel between worlds at light speed and has incredible energy and matter manipulation powers as well as a tragic story, being a sorrowful herald to the doom of countless civilizations that fall to Galactus’s wake.
5. Nova-
In the first Guardians movie, we saw the Nova Corps under attack and Infinity War revealed that Thanos laid waste to them for the power stone. That could open the door for the powerful Nova to rise as a new intergalactic protector. Whether as a cohort of the Guardians or Capt. Marvell , it’d be awesome to see Nova soaring through space.
I hope everyone enjoyed my list and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
