If you can’t get enough of creating insane levels to torture other people with, your time has come. Well, will come this June. I have honestly never tried these out, but I can’t imagine more Mario being a bad thing. Check out the trailer below. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Cross-Platform Play News: Wargroove Developer Chucklefish Claims That Sony told Them NO to Cross-Play — All The PlayStation You’ll Ever Need.
A third Developer has now decided to speak out regarding Sony’s cross-play program, as the CEO of Chucklefish claims that Sony has repeatedly told them “no” when asking for cross-play support for the recently released Wargroove. ‘Tiy’ took to ResetEra to debunk Shawn Layden’s recent comments that all a developer needed to do was ask…
New Tropico 6 Release Date
Not too long ago, much to the dismay of many the PC release of Tropico 6 was delayed for an undisclosed amount of time. Well, Kalypso Media has given us a release date. March 29th, 2019 and as an added bonus if you preordered before 7 p.m. (CET) January 10th, 2019 you will get the first DLC planned or 2019 free. I know the wait sucks, but not a bad trade-off really. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Devil May Cry 5 Demo (PS4)
The Devil May Cry 5 demo is a mixed bag for me. It is beautiful, it controls amazingly and has some of the most stunning sounds I have heard in a game in a long time. My issue is honestly, the combat was just boring for me. You can get your rank higher by doing some amazing combos with different combinations or, you can just mash buttons and kill everything that way. Many times your combo will still get up there pretty high. Granted I have no reason to think the main game won’t provide more of a challenge, but even the devil breaker didn’t make me feel like I needed to use it that much to win.
It also felt like they were trying way too hard to make Nero this indomitable badass and he came off like that kid in high school everyone knew was just talking tough when he really wasn’t half of what he thought he was.
While I have no interest in this game any more than I have already played it, I do think fans of the series will love it, possibly more than any game in the series before it and it will attract many new fans. For me personally tho, this isn’t one I will be buying. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Why Reboots Really Shouldn’t Bother You
Now let me get this out of the way first, everyone including myself is guilty of this seeing a reboot being made and thinking aw damn it and just hating it. Hell, I still dog Power Rangers 2017. Said it looked dumb from day one, saw the movie and still thought it. Thought IT would suck and was very wrong. That being said the newest thing is the live action Alladin, people are hating Genie.

I think he looks like nightmare fuel but hey whatever, that isn’t the point. I loved the original and will watch this regardless. Here is the thing tho and it goes for all remakes. If you watched the original the remake is not made for you, you are not the target audience. I know, it is a hard pill to swallow, but you aren’t the ones these companies are selling to.
I loved the original Alladin, but they aren’t making this for me to relive my childhood, they are making this so my kids can enjoy their version of the movie I watched. It isn’t limited to this one either. IT, Power Rangers, Godzilla, and the list goes on and on and that is just movies, none of these are really made for fans of the original they are made to attract new fans. It is why Godzilla looks so vastly different than he used to. Now sometimes this works out and old fans love it anyway, and many times they are pissed.
This will, of course, upset some people, in fact, a few of you may read this and unfollow my blog. How dare I say these things aren’t made for us or for everyone. Trust me, I know it sucks, it is just the cold hard truth. The older you get, the less they design things specifically for you. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Why The Return Of The Obra Dinn Is Such A Satisfying Puzzle Game — Smash Cut
The modern indie gaming scene continues to prove that there is an infinite possibility space for the potential of the medium. While it’s understandable why most titles tend to follow genre formulas or have a clear lineage, every once in a while we get something like Return of the Obra Dinn, which completely reimagine their […]

Superman In Shazam?
Screenrant is reporting that Henry Cavill shot a cameo for the upcoming Shazam movie, but it is questionable as to whether or not it will be used. For me this is a bit weird, I would love to see it but if Cavill is truly done as the man of steel why bother? I honestly think this is why they are questioning if they will use it or not. Aside from that, I can see no reason why they would film it and not use it. What do you guys think and do you want to see it? Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly (Steam)
Today from my good friends over at Intragames are releasing this mouthful of a game to say. The game does look quite beautiful.
There is also, of course, a deluxe edition that comes with a digital art book that comes in English, Chinese, and Korean, a PC wallpaper and of course an original soundtrack. Admittedly this isn’t my type of game, but it could be interesting none the less.
Distant Worlds 2, New Discoveries.
As my quest for Beagle Point continues with Distant Worlds 2 I have already seen hundreds of systems and stars. But this time I saw something I have never seen before myself. I am not sure what they do but they looked neat.

There had to be hundreds of these things just floating in space. I am hoping they are just something fun to look at honestly because that is all I did. Other things I have seen is this star system.

It isn’t anything special, there are tons of stars orbiting other stars but this one simply caught my eye and I can’t really say why. The trip itself is pretty uneventful and I only occasionally see other people at this point. The sights are rather amazing tho, and I have seen more neutron stars than ever before.

The blue on blue of this one I thought was spectacularly beautiful in its own right tho, possibly the best one I have ever seen honestly. The trip is long and sometimes lonely, but it has its own set of perks. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
