Some can be weird, others are downright amazing. It’s actually surprising what is hidden inside the games that we all love. So, today, I…

Letterkenny Season 5

If I am being 100% honest if you have read Letterkenny Season 1 review or Letterkenny Season 2 or any of the others, you can basically get the gist of what i am about to say. This is really more of a status update for the show. Again Season 5 has 7 episodes and season 6 does as well, and the show doesn’t change. Seriously each season is just 7 episodes that aren’t all that connected except for a girlfriend here or there and that is it. Just some laughs, people getting punched and cheap insults. Check out some clips on YouTube. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Select PS3 Naughty Dog Servers Shutting Down in September

As the title says, select Naughty Dog titles online aspects on PS3 will be shutting down on September 3rd, and those titles include The Last of Us and Uncharted 2 as well as Uncharted 3. On the bright side until then comicbooks.com reports all the multiplayer DLC for those games will be free.

Letterkenny Season 4

And with Letterkenny Season 4 the streak continues. The show still serves no real purpose, has no real overall story arc and is still pretty damn hilarious. The show however seems to be quite the cult type show, the people that love it really love it, the people that don’t really seem to hate it, but most people don’t seem to know about it. It has some great reviews for every season up to this point, and I feel it probably has to do with the short seasons. None of the episodes feel forced or like they were reaching for content. We will see if it lasted into season 5 tomorrow tho. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Concrete Jungle — Master Mix Movies

Predator 2 turns up the heat for a sequel now set in an urban jungle. Unlike the first Predator, I definitely shouldn’t have seen Predator 2 at such a young age. My dad got us the movie on VHS and I think he didn’t realize how much graphic nudity was in it. Victims are stripped […]

The Oath (2018)

The Oath is a pretty simple of a movie concept. The United States government has decided to ask every citizen to sign a loyalty oath. This of course isn’t mandatory, tho there are benefits to it. There is also time to decide, the day after Thanksgiving to be exact, Black Friday.

This movie does a good job showing how easy it is to divide people, there are even a couple scenes of violence in the streets, fighting among  family members. Every so often there will be news playing in the background that does an admirable job showing how many Republicans and Democrats will simply argue or make stuff up to defend a position they themselves don’t even understand to begin with or to feel superior.

Throughout the movie there are also rumors of government officials intimidates and kidnapping people that don’t sign the oath or protest its very existence. The whole thing is very well done honestly and you can actually feel the apprehension it causes and see where the real world influences how they made the movie. You know people just like this, maybe they are friends of yours that you hang out with but avoid political talk or have talked to people like this online.

Here is the issue, the movie is a comedy. The comedy aspect is where it falls a bit flat. They took what could have been an amazing thriller or even horror movie an failed to make it all that funny but also ruined the more tense moments of the movie. Worse, what should have been a spectacular ending to really accentuate the seriousness of the situation was then met with what felt like a total cop out to simply end the movie without ever solving anything. I won’t say the movie was bad as I did enjoy it, but what should have been an amazing movie with great social commentary basically ended up simply as an okay movie not worth watching twice. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Letterkenny Season 3

Now I know it seems like I am just blowing through these seasons and can’t possibly have a life. Well I am, and I don’t. It does however help that each season is only 7 episodes. I actually like the format they have going on tho. With each episode simply being its own stand alone episode with no real overarching story and it being a ton of one liner or rhyming jokes, the short season with half hour episodes really doesn’t give it a chance to get stale so far.

The show is however very much for a niche group of people. I don’t want to say it has a low class sense of humor, but it kind of does. It is a group of people living in a small farming town after all. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Spider-Man Far From Home Trailers

I saw this morning what is supposedly a new trailer, tho it honestly just seems like a bunch of trailers rolled into one. Either way I did enjoy that most of the writing isn’t even in English while the spoken language is. Plus Spider-Man footage is always nice. Best wishes, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Robert Pattinson Batman Will be a Trilogy

As reported by Gamespot and Deadline will be a trilogy under the Batman name and will be directed by Matt Reeves, the man who directed Dawn of Planet of the Apes and War for Planet of the Apes. The first movie is so far slated for a June 2021 release with the others having nothing set yet. Matt Reeves has said the new movies will have more to do with The Bats detective skills, which could be an interesting change of pace. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Letterkenny Season 2

Letterkenny season 2 did nothing to change my mind about this show being weird as hell and making no real sense. Seriously the show is mostly people standing around insulting each other in weird one liners. This may sound insulting or bad, but it isn’t a complaint.

The show is quite honestly mindless fun. It really doesn’t serve much of a point, and each episode is mostly just discussing some random small town event, like ice fishing or the sale of cigarettes from the local natives. The fighting for Wayne from season one is still there as well, which is admittedly also kind of intriguing. It also serves no purpose and mostly isn’t even a plot point, it is just tossed in there for entertainment.

I’m not saying any of this to discourage anyone from watching by the way, in fact I think you should all check it out. I have since moved on to season 3 and I am still having a  good laugh watching. So go, check it out and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
