What can I say, the Merc with a mouth has stolen the hearts of millions since the debut of his movie and that atrocity we don’t talk about in 09, you know what I’m talking about. I picked up Deadpool in late 2013 and have been a fan ever since. Here’s a list of awesome Wade stories I’ve read in no particular order starting with one I already covered…
Deadpool vs X-Force – what can I say, Cable and the X force hunting Deadpool through time so America doesn’t become a tyrannical superpower in the future. Such WTF.
2. Deadpool: Dracula’s Gauntlet- if you are a fan of horror like myself, this book is for you. Dracula has a job for Deadpool, but than comes a double cross and we get a great WTF story.
3. Night of the living Deadpool- Deadpool in the modern zombie craze. Zombie fans will eat this story up as we get some pretty funny jokes about the zombie cultural phenomenon as well as a good story.
4. Deadpool: Killustrated- I briefly touched on this story during my 5 Marvel stories that hooked me post, being part two of the Deadpool kills trilogy, centering on Deadpool slaying the fictional characters that inspired the Marvel Universe with appearances by such as Moby Dick, the Little Women, Frankenstein’s Monster, and the stories ultimate antagonist, Sherlock Holmes.
5. Deadpool Vs Carnage- two super powered psychos duke it out like a episode of R rated Looney Tunes. It’s funny, crazy, and bloody. Simple but classic.

Many fans have been clamoring for years about wanting a new and good Tony Hawk Pro Skater, despite 5 being a train wreck when it released. Or at the very least a remaster or even just turning the servers back on for the old ones. Something to let people back on their boards for the games they love. I am no stranger to the series myself, tho I am far from being the hardcore fan many are. Sadly after Neversoft closed back in 2014 it seemed the series may have been done, but now that Tony Hawk has confirmed he no longer works with Activision whom also owns the rights to Tony Hawks Pro Skater it seems the series may be dead and gone for good. Everyone seems to love Robert De Niro, and rightfully tho. I have mixed feelings for Zack Efron. On one hand he is a great actor but on the other that son of a bitch ruined large portions of my life with the High School Musical movies. I have kids and they watched them on repeat. Anyways I digress, I went into this movie not knowing what to expect. So tossing this one on I was a didn’t expect much.
For the love of god if you like comedies, don’t think. Just watch this movie. Efron plays his role of the upper middle class grandson to perfection. You spend half the movie believing and knowing he is sick of his grandfathers (De Niro) antics. De Niro on the other hand may be the most demented and foul-mouthed grandfather in existence.
There is a story here by the way. The day after his grandmother dies Jason (Efron) is pretty much shanghaied into driving his grandfather to his home in Florida. The trip doesn’t start out well. Gramps is having a solo love session when Jason walks in. This is the kind of movie we are dealing with here. They will stop for lunch and meet some friends from Jasons college years. This will propel gramps into a quest to nail a college chick under the false pretense that he is in fact a college professor. Which works out well because her mission is to sleep with a professor.
All of this is done on a time crunch as Jason is getting married in a week. The ending is actually quite predictable but there are a few surprises in store. As far as comedies go tho, this is one of the best I have seen in a while. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
The rumors of Men in Black 4 have been going on since the third movie came out. But according to some sources such as variety the movie may really be happening. Will Smith is not attached to the project but that could change, but they are looking to cast a female agent to help bring a fresh look to the franchise. I’m not entirely sure why Sony didn’t include this trailer when they announced the release date for Detroit: Become Human yesterday, but whatev’s!! Planet of the sharks is an interesting concept. Due to climate change the ice caps have melted and the world has flooded. Humans now live on floating cities in small numbers. Sharks freely roam the world since water now covers pretty much the entire planet. One shark however has seemed to have transformed into a special shark that now leads and controls the others. With the ocean temperatures riding even more food is becoming more scarce. Since food is harder to find sharks are now hunting the humans in the floating cities.
The story sounds fun and has a lot of promise, the problem is despite solid acting and an interesting story the movie falls flat. The script itself leaves much to be desired and the entire sun story of a single rocket fixing the global warming problem is at best idiotic and at worst a complete waste of time and misguided. Don’t get me wrong, it could have been great. The entire movie could have been amazing, it just fell short. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
In a surprise move Square Enix released Chrono Trigger on the PC. This limited edition comes with the special dungeons that came later and with some special soundtracks as well. If you look at the Steam reviews however you quickly see people are not pleased that this classic and well-loved game is back. The reason? It is a port of the mobile version that was plagued with issues with the UI and graphics that were simply not fixed when ported to the PC.
