Dark Souls Remastered,a Release Window, Finally. (Switch)

Not long ago the news came out that Dark Souls Remastered was coming out this year. More to the point it was coming to the Xbox, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The only small issue was one of those versions, obviously the Switch got pushed back awhile. Well we finally have a release window and that window is, October. That being said I can’t help but feel that for many fans this may be a little to late for some as they have already been angered by the wait not to mention for many the update itself seems lackluster for others. It was recently announced that Discord would start selling games. This actually seems like a natural progression for them since they are all about bringing people together, so why not sell games people can play together? Reportedly the store beta will be rolling out soon in Canada, for more details you can check here.

Aretha Franklin Queen of Soul, Rest in Peace

It is with great sorrow I must say that at the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin passed away today of pancreatic cancer as reported by People.  This one of a kind woman was loved by many and rose to stardom at a time when not only women, but people of color in general struggled to have a voice. Aretha Franklin would go on to become the Queen and icon of not only soul but an entire era of musicians that to this day look back at with pride and in awe of what she accomplished. It wasn’t just her music that people loved, with hit songs such as Respect that became a battle cry for the civil rights movement and women’s rights. movement.

Aretha Franklin will be missed my millions, may she rest in peace and the gaming gods bring her glory.

The Package is a um, interesting movie. The basic idea is ridiculous to even explain. When five friends go on a camping trip and decide to get drunk shit goes bad very fast. See when you have a drunk idiot playing with a butterfly knife while taking a leak bad things happen. Especially when your drunk idiot friends decide to scare you. The med evac gets there pretty fast so Jeremy gets there alive and well. His penis on the other hand, well that got left at the camp site when they accidentally gave the medics the beer instead of the penis.

Yea, that entire movie is a group of 4 friends trying to get Jeremy his dick back. The journey is quite eventful honestly. There are some injuries, a stolen boat, an 11-year-old pervert got slapped ( he deserved it) and even the heinous act of lost cell phones. Seriously tho the movie is weird, but in a fun way.

The movie has some solid acting and a fun premise. It isn’t new but can be exciting at times, if not goofy as hell needlessly. It is definitely worth watching if you like weird and awkward comedies.  Just don’t go into this expecting greatness, the movie is fun but it isn’t life changing or new, simply fun.
