Bethesda Hints for Next Gen

Gamespot recently reported that during a recent interview Pete Hines made some interesting remarks about the Next generation of consoles. He went so far to say he is “privy” to some info but can’t talk about it. It also seems to that many suspicions that the new Elder Scrolls would skip this generation entirely is most likely true. Check out the Gamespot link for more details, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Lunch Truck Tycoon 2 Review (PS4)

lunch truck tycoon 2

It isn’t often I play a game that 100% makes me thing ” why the fuck did I buy this.” That being said, why the fuck did I buy this? The game in theory should be fun. It’s a tycoon game, in an open world and it actually has a story. Its pretty basic, a bunch of food manes people sick and you are attempting to rebuild your business so you may as well solve this problem.

The reality is the game is horrible. The controls make your food truck feel like you are driving a tank the map is essentially useless and to make matters worse outside of some basic stuff the game doesn’t actually tell you what to be doing. There is a short tutorial showing you where different places are to sell your food and such.

The issue is nothing in the game works, I’ve gotten stuck in menus and had to reset the game entirely, launched my truck into water because it simply wouldn’t stop or turn. The game sadly had a lot of potential but most of the game either doesn’t work or works so poorly. I got the game on sale for $5 which is half off its normal price, and I’ve blown way more on some pretty dumb stuff, but this is a complete waste of money. Do not buy this game, best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Anguish (2015)

download (4)

Anguish is a horror movie that I admittedly thought would be good. The idea was good. A girl named Tess is diagnosed with a personality disorder but things aren’t what they seem. The acting is good and the story honestly is pretty easy to follow, but that is basically where I stopped enjoying the movie. It is just not good. The first hour or so is a whole lot of talking and is mostly meaningless. The last 25 minutes or so is where we finally get into the actual events of what is going on and why but by that time I was so bored I no longer cared.

This review is short admittedly and I won’t spoil the ending for you, but I also don’t suggest seeing it for yourself. I wouldn’t watch this movie again, there are far better movies out there, go watch any of them before you watch this one. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

Sleep Deprivation — Master Mix Movies

Insomnia is Christopher Nolan’s least talked about movie. Even though it’s just as good as the rest of his filmography. Insomnia takes place in Alaska and it details an aging LA police detective’s search for the killer in a local murder case. It’s probably most remembered for its fog sequence and its log chase. Supernatural Season 10

download (2)

And here we are at season 10 of Supernatural. Its been a long road so far with a few more seasons to go. This season starts in the aftermath of Deans death and his becoming a demon. Admittedly demon dean is pretty great. The season revolves a lot around curing him and finally getting rid of the Mark of Cain and figuring out the Book of the Damned. This season has some great surprises, and some very sad points.

This season also sets up season 11 amazingly. It is actually one of the strongest endings to a season in a while and I am happy I am basically binge watching these because having to wait for season 11 would have been horrible. While season 10 isn’t perfect it does pack a lot of great lore and back story into it and is quite interesting. Personally I had always wondered how a show like this stayed on for so long, but having seen all 10 seasons and started season 11 I understand now. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.

The Nun (2018) — Dan the Man’s Movie Reviews

Real nuns are scarier. I’m serious. It’s 1952 in Romania and we find exorcist Father Burke (Demián Bichir) and Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga), a novitiate who experiences strange religious visions, band together to check out just why the hell a nun killed herself in a church very far up there in the desolate mountains. Mega Man 11 Demo Review

Lets be honest, the Mega Man series in recent years has been far from great. The glory days have long since passed and fans have been dying for a reprieve. @torstenvblog played Mighty No. 9 (first impressions)  and was not happy with what can only be described as a Mega Man rip off. I couldn’t be bothered to play it myself even tho it was a free game from PSN after he told me how much he hated it. Suffice it to say, going into this demo I had very little faith this would be good.

To start there is a new mechanic, that admittedly I thought I would hate. You can basically slow down time or power up your weapon for a short period at the push of a button. I found the time slow more useful but the ability to hit a little harder when needed was nice. The L2 and R2 buttons on PS4 were my favorite add-on with being able to switch between robot powers at the push of a button. They have really streamlined many things in Mega Man 11, for example the triangle button just calls down Rush Coil for you. Now I know many things aren’t exactly new, but they function better than ever and are far more useful than ever before.

Graphically the game is beautiful but a bit cartoonish. I don’t mind this at all but I can see a few people being bothered by this. The sound is great as well but honestly all of this means nothing if that great Mega Man feeling isn’t there. I am happy to say by the way, it is. Less cheap deaths than the old days, but they are still there. You will be jumping and sliding through boards, shooting new and classic enemies. Honestly this is shaping up to be the best Mega Man game in years. Don’t believe me? Give it a shot yourself. Best wishes and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
