Kid Chameleon was a great game when I was younger. Fast paces fancy helmets that give you super powers, whats not to love? Well in the Sega Forever the controls. At times the game feels almost unplayable. While I am sure many can get used to this I for one can not. I would very much recommend skipping this one. Comix Zone is as beautiful as its ever been, and the idea of being trapped inside of a comic book was excellent. The controls on this one aren’t bad but are far from being the best that Sega Forever has offered. The game was always a challenge and now may be even harder. Its nor impossible however and should not stop fans of the game from playing. Now get out there and enjoy, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
The Revenge of Shinobi (known as Shinobi 2:The Revenge) is the typical 80’s ninja revenge story.
The sound is top notch and the visuals are solid as well. Honestly the game is a challenge and not because of the controls. While like the other games from Sega Forever the controls are a bit stiff, they don’t take away from the experience. It is really worth checking out just for the retro feel. I enjoyed my time with it and it is good to kill some time. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
So far all of the Sega Forever games I have checked out have been good. This one however does not translate over well. Sure graphically it is beautiful for a Mobile Sega game. While the controls themselves aren’t bad the smaller screen gives very little reaction time and when you add in the small delay on the screen it becomes unnecessarily difficult in some situations. Unless you are a die hard fan of the game or tennis I’d suggest skipping this one. As always thanks and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
Golden Axe is the story of 3 heroes , a dwarf, a warrior and an amazon as they seek revenge against Death Adder whom took over their once peaceful land.
The visuals are good for a cell phone game. The controls are passable but a little stiff for my taste but other than that it is a pretty great port for any one that either missed the original or just want to play it over again.
Sega Forever is doing a great job releasing these games on mobile and while all of them aren’t what I would have preferred it is still an excellent selection. May the gaming gods bring you glory.
Sega Forever continues to release more and more games, and Altered Beast is a welcomed addition. Visually it is solid and while the controls aren’t as fluid as I would like they are do the job.
The story is a bit aged, taking place in ancient Greece Zues revives our hero in order to save his daughter Athena and grants you the ability to transform into various creatures such as a wearwolf. While I am sure many have already played this game, if you want to revisit it and need a quick way to kill some time this will do the job. Best wishes, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
They is about a college student that grew up having night terrors that return after a childhood friend calls her freaking out. He explains that They only come out at night, hate light and they mess with electricity and that babies sense them and cry. He then proceeds to shoot himself in the diner.
Slowly as the movie goes on Julia moves from thinking her friend was insane and very sick to thinking maybe he wasn’t wrong. Things start turning weird for her and her night terrors return. She even wakes up in her bathroom and attack her boyfriend not realizing who it was. The movie is largely a psychological journey like many of Wes Cravens films. The acting is nice and visually there is nothing to complain about, tho while interesting I did find the movie a bit boring for much of it. I won’t say not to watch it, but it won’t be for everyone. Sharknado 4 set a new standard for ridiculous and corny B movie. Any regular reader of the blog know how much I love a good B style movie and this is no exception. The visuals are solid but corny and blatantly intentionally off. The story involves someone coming back from the dead as a cyborg 5 years after the last movie an now has a damn light saber that comes out of her arm where her severed hand used to be. Also in an even more and bizarrely nonsensical twist the Sharknados are now catching on fire or are full of rocks which the sharks also take aspects of their appearance in, for example the sharks in the sharknado have rocks bulging out of them.
This another great example of a movie series that is meant for a very specific audience and most people will simply sit there asking themselves wtf did I watch. For the rest of us, enjoy, and may the gaming gods bring you glory.
It seems like each and every Sharknado movie gets more and more ridiculous. This one starts out with Fin Shepard saving the President ( this movie is full of cameos. From Bill Engvall to Chris Jericho and many others in between. They even recreate that famous flag raising photo from Iwo Jima.
I have said this in previous reviews and I will say this again, SyFy has without a doubt mastered the B movie genre. The Sharknado movies are not what anyone would consider a “good” or “well made” movie. But they are fun.
Another fun part if the movie for example is when a sharknado hits the Daytona 500. Cars wrecking everywhere huge explosion and a plane crash into a river. Now i’m not why this was important or why it was done. But after the crash Ian Ziering and Cassie Scerbo exist the water and slow motion. Ian is surprising ripped for his age and Cassie is basically in lingerie and by the gaming gods she has a body that won’t quit.
All that being what it is any fan of the old school B movie will absolutely adore these movies. Many people however will probably hate it. As always may the gaming gods bring you glory.
First i’m going to say, I did prefer the book. With that out of the way this movie is harmless…well mostly harmless. The movie starts off by introducing you to what is pretty much the main character Arthur who just never got the hang of Thursdays. His house is about to be bulldozed and he is laying in front of it to prevent this and the construction of a highway system. Around this time his friend Ford rushes up with a shopping cart full of beer and peanuts for what I can only assume was what he wanted to bring off Earth with him. He then bribes the crew to wait awhile before demolishing Arthur’s house. Coincidentally Ford was there to pick up Arthur and catch a ride off Earth before a fleet of construction ships destroy the Earth to build am intergalactic space highway.
This is much of what goes on in the movie. Seemingly weird and random things to create a humorous and interesting narrative. I would definitely suggest checking out the movie or even the book if you like comedy, and even more if you want to see Snape ( Allen Rickman) play a clinically depressed robot.
